To the ones complaining and giving one star reviews.. don’t listen to them. Yeah it does indeed bleeds but hear me out. What I did and would recommend others who also interested in this dread cap is to soak it BUT hear me out… what you want to do is fill up a bowl or sink with COLD water not hot or warm water but COLD! And add a small amount of washing powder like a teaspoon and a splash of WHITE VINEGAR (about 1-2 tablespoons ) make sure it’s white vinegar NOT apple cider vinegar then you mix the water first then put the loc cap in it. Let is soak for 30-60 minutes and after soaking it rinse it with cold water til water runs clear and gently squeeze it ( don’t twist hard) then let it air dry! And you should be good now and can wash it regularly in the future. But if you using it to protect your hair at work and you sweat a lot like me then what i would recommend ( it’s optional but smart) you can do one more soak in cold water after the first one but add a tiny bit of vinegar. No washing powder is needed since you did so at first and let it soak for about 10-15 minutes then afterwards rinse it with cold water and let it air dry! Thank me later & if it somehow manages to still stain after wearing it then do a cold rinse one more time and you should be good. I have yet to officially wear it since I’m in the washing process myself but it feels great and fits my head. If you got a big ole head like me 😂 I would recommend stretching it out some. That’s what I did and it made it fit my head more comfortably! At first it was squeezing my head. Edit: I bought this around April 13-14 and it’s currently June 1st and I have 0 issues. No bleeding or dye in sight! Make sure you follow everything I stated before for good results. I wear it to work And I’m pretty satisfied.

If you have locs that fall below your shoulders, I would highly recommend this cap for nocturnal use. Not only does the cap stay in place, but it's pretty comfortable to sleep in. Previously, I used a LocSock to wrap my locks before bed and I wasn't a fan of the process. Since the LocSock is a tube, it took a bit of maneuvering to make sure everything was in place. It wasn't exactly comfortable sleeping on my back and it made for some while hair in the morning. This cap is long enough that my locs are bunched up. It means I can sleep on my back without it feeling like my head is elevated too much. The head band is strong, but doesn't hurt or leave a crease. That's saying something since I have a massive head. The fabric is soft, but not overly thin. I'm going to get a second one as a back up. Great product overall and worth the money.

Strong hold, lightweight and durable, however I kept noticing dark blue and black ink spots on my pillow after the first couple days. Finally I realized this cap was full of dye and required washing before use (no instructions for washing on the packaging). I ruined a couple pillow cases, otherwise I would gladly offer 5-Stars for the product.

Good quality elastic that stays on flat and tight, the band doesn't twist inside like some others do. I wear mine to protect my locs from dust and debris working with power tools, and wear it the whole work day comfortably. My locs are down to my mid back (ALMOST) and it's the perfect length.

Have been using these for years and usually they are great. However the most recent 1 i ordered stained my pillows AND left a strange allergic reaction on my skin around the area with the elastic. Please improve quality control.

Bought this for my husband. It does fit his head extremely tight so take a bit to get used to. His locs are very long and no issues with his hair all fitting .

I got this for work as I work in the trades and wanted something to cover my hair and fit comfortably under my hard hat. It did fit all my hair.. which is awesome as I have very long dreads. Unfortunately the band is waaaay to tight around my head making it too uncomfortable to wear all day at work. Unless you're buying for a child or have a smaller or narrow head, I'd say pass.
