Long story long I bought this for a special connection to be had in the evening time. While it satisfies the initial need and lust for fulfilling my electrical connection passion it fell short on where it could handle multiple older devices. Here again always read the fine print.

Product does not work at all. If you attempt to connect two HDMI cables into it to mirror the signal it blacks out both screens. Signal to one screen with one cable plugged in was distorted. Tried different hdmi cables to test. Didn’t work. Returning immediately. I should have read through the reviews more before buying and saved the trouble. Two thumbs down on this purchase.

I wasn't aware that there was a difference between an HDMI splitter mirror and extender. Learn something new every day! It was easy to use and mirrored the screens. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't able to use my other screen for different content. I didn't think I needed to read the information sheet that came with it. It's pretty self explanatory if you ask me, but apparently not. I took off 1 star because the seller could have made a better slide advertising in thr pictures that this was a mirror only and not an extender. It wasn't until I read the information sheet and scrolled farther down on Amazon that I realized what it all does. Overall, it appears to be good quality and the power was good even though my monitors have different refresh rates. It was definitely worth the money.

Maybe for other things but no for dual monitors , it works perfect with one monitor but once a second one comes in it goes so blurry to the point you cant even see the screen anymore also feels like it can gain a storage quickly myabe better on older products but my gaming laptop i have with ryzen 7, is def a no go !

Amazon wants me to mention sheerness thickness and easy to use...Even though two of those have nothing to do with this product.It's definitely easy to use simply plug and play but don't expect it to actually run to monitors.I bought this for my RV which has a very large Android head unit I use for all my entertainment on the road. The Android head unit only has one HDMI out and I have a TV and a projector. This works fine as long as only one of them is on at the same time but if I turn the projector on when the TV is already on neither one of them will work.Keep in mind this might be just my situation and it might be that the Android head unit just doesn't have enough power coming out of the HDMI port for the signal to still be strong enough at each device (we're talking about a 25 and 35 ft HDMI cord by the way)If you're using this with a PC to run to monitors or maybe a game console to two TVs it might work as long as your HDMI cords are really short.As far as I can tell it's not directional so it would also work the other way around and let you use more devices on an older TV that only has one or two HDMI ports or let you add something like a Chromecast or Roku stick to a computer monitor that only has one input.... Again keep in mind there's no switch here so I have no idea what would happen if you put two inputs in at once (it could possibly damage your TV or monitor)

My son paid me for this to split his display for his launch day Nintendo Switch 2 between a monitor and a TV.Sure this was easy to set up and arrived quickly but it doesn’t work. It doesn’t even MIRROR a display, which is what it’s designed to do! Even if you unplug one at a time like it says in the instructions, (which you can only read once you purchase and open it) unplugging and plugging cords in every time defeats the purpose of having the splitter!It doesn’t matter if you have 1 or 2 output cables plugged in, the display will have questionable quality, but often times won’t work at all.Even once you actually manage to get it on one or somehow both displays at once, the quality is still downgraded and it only shows half of the screen because it’s zoomed in a ton and there’s no way to fix it! Save your time and buy a different brand for the same price.
