Brew Armor Silicone Mason Jar Sleeve 24 oz 1.5 Pint Wide-MouthArrived promptly in minimal packaging. Upon opening there was no odor (cheaper grade silicone often has a distinct odor). Beautiful bright colored Sleeves, are comprised of thick medical grade silicone. Prior to their arrival I received an email with clear instructions on care, including pre-treating with a dab of Coconut Oil to prevent water spits. After a quick wash in the dishwasher, I placed them on my mason jars! They work great!! They are a little pricey, but it’s a fairly unique item and a small company. I prefer to support small business and the products are definitely made out of QUALITY material. I am looking forward to purchasing another set, as I exclusively use mason jars for water and iced coffee. I may even purchase a set for my sister!

I use jars for all kinds of storage, including in refrigerator and freezer. A jar sleeve is ideal for counteracting the tendency for glass to get slippery when removed from the fridge for a few minutes. I also love that I can microwave something in a jar with a sleeve and not need to use an oven mitt to handle it afterwards.Putting these on the jars isn't a problem with a little foamer bottle soap. Smear few squirts around the bottom and sides of the jar, and the sleeve slides right on. Run warm water over the sleeved jar until the sleeve no longer slips.Unlike fabric sleeves, the silicone ones will travel through the dishwasher with the jar and can be quickly rinsed if I spill some of the jar's contents down the side. I also like the series of holes on these. When they are filled, I can judge the level (although one more row of holes near the base would make this easier.) The holes also coordinate nicely with our Life Factory brand baby bottles.I have purchased five purple sleeves so far. I wish that the color choices were more varied. The green looks a little dreary in the pictures. I'd also like to purchase a few of these sized to fit wide mouth quarts or the one liter Quatro Stagioni juice bottles.

LOVE these. In an attempt to minimize plastic use in my life I have started using mason jars. I had no issue using just a plain glass mason jar to drink out of but when I stumbled upon these I knew I just had to have them. They are so cute! I haven't dropped my jar while it's on there so I can't speak on the protection aspect.

I really am enjoying this product. I use it every day. The color was not very accurate, so a star off for that. Included photo shows color difference and a size reference of a credit-card-sized store rewards card. I purchased an iLID that looked like it would match.  iLIDS Mason Jar Drink Lid, Wide Mouth, Purple, 2-Pack  Oh well, at least everything works together just fine. The iLID and this sleeve fit perfectly on the Ball 24-ounce jar. I like using it with hot or cold drinks. When I pick up the glass to drink hot coffee, I need to be sure that my fingers don't land on a "naked" spot because the glass is hot to the touch. I like that the sleeve covers the bottom of the jar and the jar sits nice and level. So far, I have not had a problem with condensation with cold drinks. The sleeve acts like an insulator, but I can't help but think it would be a better insulator if the holes weren't so large. 24 ounces is a nice size, but overkill for coffee. (It gets cold before I can drink that much). The jar and sleeve is easy to wash, rinse and air-dry without having to remove the sleeve each time. So far, I've had no problem with mold or bad smells developing. The sleeve is easy to put on and take off the jar too. I remove it about once a week for a more thorough washing/drying. The sleeve is well made, and seems like it will last a long time without tearing easily. I feel it is worth the price and a good value, especially since there are two sleeves and not just one. It would be nice to have the choice to buy just one, or at least be able to choose 2 different colors if they continue to be sold in pairs. I really wish these were available in smaller sizes, to fit 16-ounce, 12-ounce and 8-ounce regular mouth sized canning jars. Then I could use them as a travel mug that fits in my car's cup holder, my coffee would probably stay warm until I finished it, and little kids would be able to use them. I would buy them in a heartbeat.

I am always afraid I'm going to drop this jar on the ground in a place where I won't be able to clean it up. Also, having to throw paper towels down to collect condensation was making a wasteful, mess of my desk. I love this thing so much that I am going to buy a few more for my coworkers.
