Really works - Trust Fritz Aquatics
While this product is expensive - it does work very well. I had been using another all natural product to help heal an ulcer on one fish and mild mouth rot on another (with little change). After the three doses of this product, the ulcer was almost completely healed and the mouth rot was completely healed. The biosphere technology is the difference. The treatment is bound directly to the fish where it can do the most good - it doesn't just treat the water.I still use my other trusted product, but for mild Mouth Rot/Columnaris, this Fritz product is superior (no idea how this product would work for a severe outbreak of Columnaris). Using this at the earliest sign, may eliminate the need for stronger medications. This is 100% safe for fish -- with no harmful side effects as with stronger medications.Note: This is also a "Verified Purchase"... I had ordered with my husband's account.

Not much else to say. Didn't harm the fish, but didn't fix their cloudy eyes. Waste of money for me.

Do not use Bactershield. If the chart gives you another option, use that other one. Bactershield does nothing. I bought it instead of Maracyn Two since the store didn't have it. I had three sick fish. One died with bactershield. The other one was doing exact same thing under that medication, gasping for air about to die laying sideways flat on bottom of pond, just like the first one. If you didn't look closely you would have thought he was dead, just like the previous one. I took him out of that medication. Put him under Maracyn Plus and it was like a miracle happening. He was much better that same night. I feel guilty using that crap on my previous one. I have lots of experience with fish and I have used Maracyn-two and Maracyn plus and they are amazing. I have no idea why Mardel sells that crap of Bactershield. I had to give 1 star to be able to submit this review. It doesn't deserve even that.
