Worx WX240L 4V 3-Speed Cordless Screwdriver

This little electric screwdriver has been super useful, definitely a good purchase! I bought it over a year ago and I've used it on all sorts of things, including a lot of the some-assembly-required stuff you buy on here. Shelves, side tables, and when I moved I even used it to take apart and reassemble a kitchen table.The adjustable torque is very handy! The low setting is great for light MDF and thin bamboo where tightening it too much can split the wood. The high setting can make quick work of pretty large bolts in hardwood (pre-drilled anyway, I haven't tried to use it on anything large and self-drilling in hardwood). On high it'll put out enough torque that it twists my wrist if I don't brace myself.The battery lasts a long time and I love that it charges with just a regular USB! I've used it pretty steadily for several hours at a time when building/reassembling stuff when moving and it only needed charging about once a day on even the heaviest use days. I should point out that it wouldn't charge on my Anker Nano 67W charger, but it charged just fine on an 11 year old 40W Anker charging hub. I haven't messed around to figure out why but just in case anyone else has this issue, try an older model charger, this thing isn't fancy and doesn't need super high speed charging.The various tips and the little box to store them all are enough for most of my needs, I'm sure I can add more tips if I end up needing them.For what it is, it's a great tool and I love it! It won't replace a cordless drill, but for light to medium duty tasks I'll take this over a heavy drill every day. I keep it in a drawer in the kitchen so I can grab it any time, it's my go to over both a regular screwdriver and my drill.

It came in a durable plastic box, perfect for storage. But what made me really happy? The efficiency standards and the 2 LED lamps. They made working in dim-lit areas hassle-free. Highly recommend!

I looked at a lot of cordless screwdrivers before deciding on this one. A couple of requirements were adjustable torque settings and smaller size. I also wanted variable speed but this was harder to find. I use this to perform maintenance on 3D printers, small electronics and to assemble some custom 3D printer accessories I market.So far the tool has worked pretty much exactly as I expected. I have found the torque settings to be adequate for what i require. The lack of variable speed has not been a factor so far. I was surprised at the amount of torque on the highest setting. I needed to remove some rather large screws from a window in my office and it handled the job. The lowest torque setting has worked good for seating very small screws and bolts into plastic housings where the risk of stripping the threads is high.I don't care for the operation of the power switch. I find the recessed sliding switch difficult to operate. I feel like the position of the forward/reverse rocker switch coulr be closed to the front of the tool however I have gotten used to it. The included set of bits is pretty much useless for me. I need a few metric hex bits, a few torx bits and occasionally some star bits.Given all things and the price this screwdriver is a good deal.

I haven't owned many power screwdrivers, this one does it all. I got this for RC projects but have used it for all my light projects around the house. It is easy to use and very versatile. The battery life is also great. Great value and a great addition for the home owners tool box.

I purchased this screwdriver to assemble a seven drawer cabinet. After assembling one cabinet with a manual screwdriver, I was so sore and it took me about 4 hours. I decided to order this electric screwdriver to assemble the second identical cabinet. WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY! It cut my time to assemble by more than half and eliminated all the stress and pain to my wrist and shoulder from manually screwing it together. I am very happy with the speed, torque, and power this device has. Well worth the money, especially if you frequently assemble furniture. I also love that it comes with several bits, a charging cable and a carrying case. Don’t hesitate to purchase.
