Works great, but it might depend on the chalk you are attempting to clean.
For me this stuff worked perfectly. It only took about 2 rounds of spray and light scrubbing with the included microfiber. I only had to use the eraser on one spot and even then I didn't have to really work at it.I bought a chalkboard from a local beerhall without know what kind of chalk was used or how long it was on the board for. I just know I've been seeing the chalkboard for years there.With that being said, I bet this has a lot to do with the kind of chalk used in the first place. I know nothing about the different chalk or liquid chalks but I can say this stuff worked for me.

Works Perfect
Works better than I expected. I sprayed it on and waited the recommended 30 seconds to wipe it off. The chalk board looks brand new. Highly recommend this product and I will be purchasing it again.

Works GREAT
I bought this to remove liquid chalk markers that have a tendency to stain. This product works amazing for cleaning off the residue and stains. Definitely worth the price. I will be buying this again whenever I run out!

This kit was great! I bought this small kit to see if I liked the spray before buying the larger size. It works great and gets our A-Frame chalkboard sign spotless after using chalkboard markers on it.

Completely cleans chalkboard contact paper
This package comes with cleaner spray, a cloth, and two eraser sponges. It cleaned chalk pen and regular chalk off vinyl chalkboard contact paper with just a spritz and wipe with a cloth. On a bonded wooden mini chalkboard the chalk was more stubborn, but doing the entire process left it completely clean. The full instructions said to spray the chalkboard, wipe with the cloth, then spray the corner of the eraser with the cleaner and clean the chalkboard, and finally wipe with the cloth again. I'm really glad I proactively ordered this cleaning set to avoid the headaches others posted in reviews of chalkboard products saying they couldn't clean them completely.

Not great on chalk board, fantastic on whiteboard
This doesn’t really work all that well on chalk board. It took like 5 different treatments to get off with a lot of elbow grease.Works amazing on whiteboard!
