2" Caster with 1" u Bracket, Pack of 4, use 1" Wood

I needed casters added to the gate legs of a very heavy table and drilling holes for pins would have compromised the 1" x 2" legs too much. This was a perfect solution. True to size, they fit perfectly and matched the 2" height of the other 4 leg casters exactly. Installation was easy and they are sturdy and reliable. I couldn't be more pleased.

What I said in the title. :-) I bought these for an Elfa shelf which worked as a desk support I had bought years ago, and now thanks to these awesome castors, it's now an Elfa cart which can hold art supplies. Yay! The castors which are sold on the Elfa website are made literally (I am not exaggerating) of cardboard where the flaps of the "U" fold up. Obviously cardboard isn't going to last so I kept looking until I found these, which are made from one solid piece of very sturdy steel. Each wheel comes with it's own matching black screw if you need that. I don't, the weight of the shelving unit seems to be enough to keep the wheels attached to the cart but extra screws are included just in case. Seller makes it easy for you to get the right size by describing the width of the material which will fit into the "U" -- it's a good thing too because otherwise I would have chosen a smaller size and then would have been an unhappy camper. These are great, thank you very much Oagen!The other odd part which you might want to know, is that while I can't smell anything on the castors, my cat obviously does because she immediately wanted to rub her face against the wheels for quite some time. She is very excited about the castors for some weird reason, so that makes me extra happy with them. :-)

Worked very well.. We used it to suspend our VIFAH V163 Acacia Hardwood Privacy Screen ... wbich hides the cat boxes on our deck. But the wood screen was hard to move to clean out the boxes. These solve the problem and navigate the wood deck very well. Would have been 5 stars but my wood was 7/8 inch which fell between the two available sizes. Still a good product

these came with VERY long machine screws - no nuts on for the backside - yet much too long for the application. The 1" we purchased seemed extremely large against out 3/4 inch plywood we used them on, but the measurement issue could have been ours.

I needed to match another desk height with their own casters. This fit perfectly and roll easily on the industrial carpeting.

These casters are very well make and definitely fit 1" wood snugly. For our purpose I did drill the hole to 1/4 inch and used a bolt and locknut for attachment. All four have worked great with no problems.

The dimensions are true to the description. This is an innovative product that can have many uses.I put a set of these on a keyboard stand. Fantastic !

I’d give these 0 stars if I could. Two of the wheels went on easily, the other two - not so much. There’s obviously a quality/consistency issue with this product if the two of the screws are able to bend this easily (see pic)

Disappointing. These casters do not actually have a 1” U bracket. It’s less than 1” and doesn’t fit my need. If I use them I’ll have to shave off some of the wood to make them work on my office chair.
