Will this vest keep you cool on hot days?

It is not a cooler vest. It has good ventilation and is much cooler then other protective vests. Very comfortable to wear. If it’s hot you will be hot.

Does anyone know what the differences are between tipperary eventer vest and tipp eventer pro? is there difference in level of shock absorption?

I started with the eventer and recently upgraded to the pro (due to being astm certified). The pro is more solid, a bit heavier, but is still very flexible and comfortable (for me). They are both an investment- I would go for the Pro if safety is your concern.
