I purchased for a family member who has become bedridden. They had developed a pressure sore on their foot. Bandaging alone wasn't solving the problem. They also had a large toe amputation so I was at a loss how to treat both issues. When I found the bootie- which fit a men's size 13-I was thrilled. The pressure sore cleared up and allowed the air flow to the wound. The best part was he didn't mind wearing it and it did not easily fall off. It did keep his foot bit warm so will be great in the cooler months. I take it off every few hours to allow air flow. It is a winner and I am so pleased with this purchase. It is very soft and comfortable.

Fractured my ankle a few months ago. After I was allowed to sleep without a boot or brace on, I would toss and turn all night trying to find a comfortable position for my ankle. Wearing one of these plush pillow booties has made all the difference. I generally sleep on my side, and the bootie keeps my ankle comfortable whether it's under or on top of the other foot. It even protects me when the cat jumps on my feet! It's so comfortable (plush fabric, light weight) that I forget it's on. It has helped me get enough high quality sleep, hurrah!

My husband is the one I bought these for. He said they felt heavy on his feet, although he has only worn them for one night so far. I think he will like them after getting use to them.

I had knee reconstructive surgery and had to sleep on my back with my leg in a brace extended for 6 weeks. We tried everything to keep my foot comfortable, because it was dropping harder than normal after my surgery and causing muscle spasms... Nothing worked until I came across this boot online! Listen, it's soft, the Velcro definitely works and I actually got a good night's sleep. Possibly the design on the boot is what helped, but if you're stuck on your back for surgery, get one! Well worth the $ and wish I would have looked sooner.

This does not look at all like the image on the ad. They are much smaller. You can see that it doesn't have a separate footbed type of piece. That being said I think it may be more comfortable than the image that is posted. They feel soft and comfortable but I'll have to see what happens when I take the socks off. It would be nice if the velcro had been placed so that it was not on the same side of both pieces. I have not attempted to sleep in them yet and I've only tried them on with socks. I may or may not return them. But this is definitely not the image with the ad. I also purchased a foam sheet lifter footrest as well. Hopefully the two together will protect my heels and keep the ankles in neutral. EDIT 7/24: new pictures that more resemble what got. Really wanted to like these but seam hits all the sore places, even with socks on. Straps not positioned well so it will stay on foot when moving around in bed.

This product has been a life saver not only for the patient but for the caregivers as well! They are amazing. We have had tried every method possible to keep pressure sores from developing on the feet as well as having to treat the ones that were already existing. From bandages,, wraps other brands that similar to this look. If you struggle with bedsores , pressure sores you know the challenge of turning the patient, elevating the feet etc. and then using pillows to position the feet correctly. These shoes eliminate so many steps as well as protect the feet and have the comfort . I will be buying more! Side note: unfortunately In the past I rarely leave reviews but This product deserves more than a positive review. It needs some type of best heel protectors award!! If you are even thinking about trying them , STOP procrastinating and just get them as quickly as possible. You will not regret it. Whether for yourself or elderly patients these make life so much easier and you know your loved ones are comfortable!! So happy I came across these - I will always be a loyal customer. Thank you !

They are made from a very soft fabric. BUT, they are too bulky, AND the seam is on the inside and rubs skin. They stay stuck under the covers and restless legs take feet with them when they move. The feet do not stay in the heel protectors. The straps are sharped edge and stiff. The lower strap scrapes the skin across the top of the foot. You learn that fact after they have been worn. Worn is not returnable and not refundable. Do not buy these. I am disappointed with this poor quality product and have lost money. Sincerely.

This bootie is designed for warmth and comfort. It is not a traditional medically approved bootie for foot ulcers but is perfect if foot/heel ulcers are not a concern. The look and feel makes one want to snuggle in and enjoy putting the feet up or sleeping in softness
