Spring Valley - Melatonin 3 mg, 480 Tablets, Twin Pack

I am a true believer in natural medicine and that is the reason that led me to purchase this product,and I'm glad I did!!These Tablets do work,I took two tablets at first and that was an over dose for me at least! Had a bit of weird reaction that felt very sleepy,yet fully awake. Then I took only one Tablet it worked just fine. Just don't expect the quick effect of a sleeping pill,it will take some time to get the effect of it! You have to set yourself mentally first and it will for sure work for you! The way these tablets work is by giving a signal to your that it is night time and is time to hit the pillow! I highly recommend it to others as it did work for me!! Melatonin works but you have to take it for a least a week before it really starts to work and be sure not to take too large of a dose. Dr. Oz warns not to take more than 3mg a day. I did experience some very vivid dreams for the first few weeks while first taking it but that has gone away. I used to ask my doctor for sleeping pills which are bad and very habit forming. Melatonin is a natural chemical our bodies produce and when we lack it we may have a hard time sleeping so taking some is a healthier option. I take it about a half hour before I want to fall asleep

It works great as a sleep aid, making me very drowsy within 30-45 minutes of taking it and I do sleep through the night using it but wow, some strange dreams since I started taking it. I very seldom remember dreams and don't remember the last time I had a nightmare before using this product but each morning after use, I've woken up with vivid memories of some not so pleasant dreams. Not the products fault, suspect it's just the way it affected me and I won't be using it any longer.

Good value, excellent quality. I wasn't always a fan of melatonin. When my doctor recommended it as sleep aid, I tried it but didn't think it worked. Trying it this year (2016- after surgery and rehab) I'm please to find it does seem to help. Before, I wasn't sleeping through the night and awoke as slightest sound. Now I I'm sleeping much better with a low dose (12mg) of M and 3 mg of a benzo ( which I'm trying to wean myself off).

Great product at a great price. This was prescribed by My Vet for my dog who has Cushings Disease. This was one of only a few brands that does not contain the toxic to dogs Xylitol as an ingredient.

I have been taking 5 MG melatonin for a while and having strange dreams, on the recommendation of a friend I tried these 3MG pills and found that the dreams were less weird, and that there is less of a drowsiness effect in the morning.On the downside, the pills arrived quite shaken up and there is a lot of dust inside the bottles from the simple press-type pills jouncing and bouncing against each other.
