I have had a lot of trouble finding a CD boombox that would hold up and play very well. So, the reviews on this little player were very encouraging. I bought it, and even though the price is a little high, the boombox plays great and sounds fantastic. So far, I have had nothing but enjoyment when listening to my CD's on this little player. There are a few things that I would have liked to have on this. For example, the player displays the track number, but only for a few seconds, then it just shows the time of the song. If you have to pause a song in the middle, then it will only hold for a few minutes, before shutting off. The problem is, the player will not continue where you left off. So, unless you know what track you are listening to, good luck in continuing where you left off. Also, it doesn't say how long the total CD time is. Also a few other problems with the display. Nothing major, just a few things they could have improved on, but didn't. I do give it 5 stars, as the sound and sturdiness of the CD player is fantastic. So overall, a great player. A little pricey, and the digital display, could have been better. But, if you want a sturdy, well-built CD boombox, then this one is definitely a great choice.I just added this- I had a wonderful time with the customer service. My player was making a small hissing sound. So they sent a new one. Now they both play great, it's just the one that has hissing. Well, they sent a new one and told me to keep them both. That was extremely generous of them. The hissing is only noticeable when the music is not playing, and the player is on. When the music plays, then the noise is impossible to hear. So I have an amazing player in the one unit. And a slightly less than a perfect player in the other one. They were very kind and friendly. Great company to do business with. I will definitely do business with them going forward. Thank you to the Klim company.

I love the sound and battery life cute and small

I purchased this radio hoping for a radio with better reception in my home office than my smaller radio. Reception is slightly better that my smaller radio. The rechargeable batteries that come with it do not hold a charge for very long and require repeated re-charging. Also, there is no way to permanently turn off the "disco light" effect around the speakers -- that must be done each time the radio is turned on; no big deal just a pain in the neck. The feature window is readable, the CD player works well; delivers a decent sound from this small unit, and it's well made. Overall, it's a good radio and I would recommend it for use in a home office or kitchen.

It is very cute and works well. The Controls are easy to use. It even has an antenna for better reception.

it is a bit smaller then i expected. if you are looking for compact and easy to use then look no further. if you want good sound them keep looking . the sound is not great at all. I've heard better sound on smaller and cheaper devices.don't get me wrong i got what i payed for.portability is greatit has bluetooth which i s good and a CD player and FM radio which is why i bought it I'm still a CD guy.but the sound is not great at all which is important to me so it only gets 3 stars from me

According to the instruction booklet, one just plugs it in, turns it to "on," hits the "power" button, and it starts!Oh, no, not at all. Although the power was clearly on (lights on), no amount of poking or holding either the power or the mode buttons resulted in anything, whatever the instruction booklet tells you. I even took out the batteries, thinking maybe they were fouling it up. So, I repacked and returned the first box, thinking it defective. The second arrived--to the exact same problem!Only when, in *complete frustration*, did I start poking ANY button, that the +VOLUME button started the machine. The power button still seems to do nothing but start the lights and turn the whole thing OFF. It still won't turn it ON. I just randomly poke buttons until it comes on. It plays things fine. But the instructions are complete nonsense and I don't think it works right. If it continues to flake out, I'll return it for a refund. (I'd upload a video of me trying to turn it on by the power button to demonstrate, but Amazon won't allow it.)I DO NOT recommend this machine. Buy something else that works the ways the instructions say it should.

After a disappointing experience with a similar Sony unit (would not run on batteries), I decided to try this unit by KLIM instead. First of all, it's roughly 2/3 the cost of the comparable Sony stereo, yet has nearly the same features. This stereo functions just fine on either cord or battery power. The LED lighting around the speakers is a plus for us, as we bought it for our son . . .and he loves anything that lights up. They softly pulse different colors as music plays, but there are no user controls which allow you to dictate what colors are displayed. It just runs through a sequence of different colors. Still, it's a nice feature, and my son really likes it.The display/fit-finish of this unit lacks a bit of the refinement of the Sony, but it makes up for it by WORKING. It seems pretty durable, which is important given that we bought it for our 11-year old son.Sound quality is good, for a stereo of its size and power. Connectivity has worked fine, with Bluetooth as well as via the AUX cable input. It doesn't seem to get very good radio reception for us, but it should be noted that we're rural, and live in a bit of a depression. . . so it may not be the fault of the stereo, and we didn't have very high expectations for radio reception in the first place. We just pipe FM into it thru a mobile phone when he wants to listen to the radio.Lastly, the documentation the unit came with included a hilarious little note from the manufacturer, which brought a smile to my face. I don't want to ruin it for other potential buyers, but it was a nice touch.
