No more looking over my shoulder!!
I tried putting together my own bike cam 5-6 years ago, with not a whole lot of success. So, when I bought this Feiske bike cam, I just knew, from my past failures, why it wasn't going to work for a variety of reasons. Boy, was I wrong!I just knew that the display would be too washed out in bright sunlight. Wrong! It has a nice crisp image even in direct sunlight.I just knew the wide angle lens wouldn't work because images of oncoming cars would remain too small until they are right on your tail. Wrong again. The camera image is so sharp, you something coming while it's still far down the road.I knew it wouldn't work because of the large battery and bunches of wires you had to connect to not only the camera but also the monitor. Wrong yet again! The monitor's internal battery feeds the camera with one easy to connect wire. It's the simplest of 'plug and play,' technology. And finally I knew it wouldn't work because I found it impossible to securely mount the monitor and the camera to the bike. They were sure to get out of alignment on any even the shortest of bike rides. Yes, wrong, wrong, wrong again. It didn't take five minutes for me to attach monitor and camera to the bike, connect the two, and be on my way.Now that I'm retired, I've been riding regularly for the past10+ years, and have to say I've entered a whole new wonderful phase of biking as I no longer have to worry about traffic coming up from behind.

Very good quality and picture. Happy with battery life.
You can see I haven’t removed the plastic yet based on other reviews that the screen scratches easily. To be removed and a protector installed soon. After two weeks I can say this works well in sunny and cloudy weather. Haven’t used it in rain or at night. I did have to remove the plastic protector on the camera to install on my seat mount. It would not fit otherwise. But other than that installation went smoothly. Picture is clear. Hard to see very far behind the trailer but I purchased this mainly so I could monitor my son on the trailer. Works really well on sunny days and so so for that purpose on cloudy days. But that is more related to the sun protection on my trailer that makes it harder to see. Seems like one charge should last at least 6 hours. Overall very happy with this purchase. Great value for the price.

Nice camera but don't get rid of your mirrors
First let me say, this camera works great, was easy to install and a breeze to set up. The picture resolution is very good, the screen is large, the glare isn't too bad, even in bright sunlight and you can see the screen even if the sun is straight overhead. The field of view is very wide allowing you to see a large area surrounding the rear of your bike. Both the rear camera mount and the screen mount are adjustable to fit most any bar. I posted a video showing how they mount and also how the screen looks while riding. Keep in mind the video of the screen while riding shows a lot more glare than you actually will have. This is probably due to me filming with my Iphone which likely exaggerates the glare factor. The camera does not have recording capability. Now, on the negative side, I honestly wanted this camera to help me watch for and see traffic coming from behind but, alas, it does not accomplish that too well. The reason is, as most typical cameras do, it works like a convex mirror, objects appear far away. At distance, you cannot see what's back there, be it a car, truck, etc. Once the object gets within probably 40-50 yards, you will then be able to see what's back there. Now let me stress, the camera functions very well and I have no issues with anything about it other than what's mentioned above. Because of this, I deducted a star, giving it a 4 but really, just about any camera is going to perform this same way.I'll keep and use this camera because I do like that you can see a wider area directly behind you than you can with any mirrors. I like to watch the traffic right behind me that's following me to make sure of when they pass or to make sure they're not going to run me over. This camera accomplishes that well and another plus is, you don't have to keep looking at your mirrors, taking your gaze from looking straight ahead, you can just look down at the camera.Overall, this camera will add to your safety and comfort when riding. I would recommend not getting rid of your mirrors and relying on ANY camera as your sole means of watching what's behind you. Think of the camera as a supplement to your mirrors and giving you a broad view of the area immediately behind you. Of course, if you do not have any mirrors, obviously this camera will be a huge difference, just weigh out the limitations and decide for yourself.

This seller took care of their customer!!
This seller is GREAT!! I bought this bike camera literally almost 1 year ago, it works great. The plastic piece which attaches the monitor to the handlebar has eroded over time. It finally detached last week. Once letting the seller know last week, hoping they could help, they IMMEDIATELY fixed the problem, sending me a replacement. They did me right, when they didn't have to. Thanks, I can't give enough stars!!!

**Defective and not that good besides**
I usually dont leave feedback on products. However this is so bad and the reviews so good that I felt compelled to leave an honest review.First the bad stuff. During the installation of the camera, the nut securing the ball mount split down it's side. Fortunately, I was able to put a hose clamp around it so I could tighten it up. I could not get the handlebar mount tight enough to keep it from slipping, making it necessary to readjust all the time. The speed on the unit matched what my bikes computer displayed so no issues there. However the odometer and the trip distance stayed at zero. I built a 5" tall shroud around the display to better view the screen. It helped yet it is still difficult to see vehicles untill they are right up on you.The instructions are a joke. It says to make sure the infrared light is off prior to turning off the screen; it also says to make sure the infrared light is off prior to turning on the display. There is no method, either by switch or by the menu to do anything with the infrared light. Also, infrared light is invisible to the human eye, so how would I know if it were on or off? And my favorite one of all goes like this. "The diameter range that the bracket can be installed is" That's it, nothing more. Now the good stuff. It is better than having no rear-view camera at all.

A Smart, All-in-One Upgrade for Safer Cycling
I recently equipped my bike with this rear-view camera system, and it has fundamentally changed how I approach my rides, especially in traffic. This little device packs a surprising amount of functionality into a compact package, making it a worthy replacement for a traditional mirror. The standout feature is the 4.3-inch HD display. It provides a crisp, real-time video feed from the rear, eliminating the need to constantly turn my head. The 145° wide-angle view is genuinely impressive, covering blind spots that a standard mirror would miss. I found the 3X zoom particularly useful for getting a better look at cars approaching from a distance. What sets this camera apart is the integrated “cyclo-computer”. Having my speed, distance, and ride time displayed on the same screen is incredibly convenient and de clutters my handlebars. The automatic night vision is another major plus, activating seamlessly in low light and providing a clear, visible picture that makes evening and early morning rides feel significantly safer.Installation was simple, with the adjustable bracket fitting securely on my handlebars and a generous 78-inch cable that should accommodate most bike frames. Overall, this bike camera kit is a good investment for any cyclist. It combines essential safety features with useful ride-tracking data in a single, easy-to-use device. It’s a modern looking solution that offers peace of mind and enhances the entire cycling experience.

Great if modified
I'm on my third camera of this type. I use it several times a week. Daytime rides only. The 3x zoom is essential, otherwise the view is too wide angle, especially for those who need reading glasses but don't ride with them. 4x would probably be just right. Current version has battery life of at least 5 hours, at which point it's down to its last of 4 bars. Image is sharp. The brackets and mounts don't work for me, and they seem generic. I make custom mounts for camera and screen, and that works exceptionally well. The two biggest problems that I've had are degradation of the battery, and the plug from camera to screen. In the past two units I've had, battery life decays over about a year to the point where you get less than 2 hours from the unit. It seems like the battery could be replaceable - it uses a plug rather than being soldered in. But I couldn't easily find one. The connector is the biggest problem. It failed on one unit completely, and it wouldn't stay connected on the newest one, requirign constant fiddling with it to regain the video. I DIY'd a 3 wire computer connector to replace it, and that now works well. So if you are good at fabrication and electronics and can mod this unit, it works great, but out of the box, I'm not sure I would recommend it.

Really Pleased with this Gadget!
Exceptional for the price. Easy to charge. Video quality is good enough. Menus and settings are all really basic, but functional and design is good. Clamps are well thought out and seem solid. The clamps work great and cam cord is long enough - I believe it would even be long enough for a step-through/foldable to route camera all the way to the rear. I got a NuPro screen protector for a tablet (cheap) and cut it to fit for anti-glare (you will want this). That little added security of having full hindsight without turning my whole aging body is nice (especially with another rider). My only gripe, and I hesitate to mention it here because it might not be the items fault, is that the entire package WREAKS of some sort of fumigation smell - like a REALLY pungent floral bug spray smell. It permeates the box and into the . . . it's like the whole thing got dipped in something that stinks up an entire room. and it is not just a foul odor, it is REALLY nasty to the point where I put everything outside to air out.

Perfect
Perfect even at night rides be better if it had a SD port so could record the rides but that's the only thing what could of been on but apart from that everything is really. If you always turning your head to look for cars coming behind you then this is the thing for you
