PowerA Play & Charge Kit for Xbox Series X|S

I live in a house with 3 kids who can be rough on controllers. After I noticed we were going through batteries like crazy, I realized the culprit was a controller that had the micro USB cable inserted improperly/bent while in use so many times that the port was more or less no longer functional, so they'd just been manually replacing AA batteries, and due to habits such as leaving the controller on when not in use, were burning through 2 batteries almost every day. Wanting to nip this unnecessary expenditure in the bud before it really started to add up, I found these. I'll be honest, I just looked for the cheapest ones I could find and called it a day. I assumed only one pack would be included at that price, but I only needed one, so it was alright. Not only did I receive TWO, a pleasant surprise, but I also realized that the packs do not charge via the controller's built-in charging port, (which was destroyed on the controller in question) but they actually have their own separate Micro USB charging port on the battery pack itself. A very convenient workaround which allowed me to essentially bypass the broken charging port and restore the otherwise good and working controller to full and proper function. Not only that, but when it was inevitably misplaced (I don't know how, considering the way you attach it to the controller mounts it on there pretty good, but these kids have never ceased to surprise me) I had a backup already ready to replace it. Excellent product, works as intended, very reasonable price, you get two, you can charge it on or off the controller via any micro USB cable, and it can also serve as a workaround if you have a damaged charging port on your controller. Would highly recommend.

Holds charge well and lasts a super long time! Priced just right too! Can also utilt the cable that charges the battery to prolong game time also. What else is there to say?

These poor things have been working hard for years, although my headsets and adapters are making charging more frequent(every other day), the long charging cable included makes it super easy, barely an inconvenience. Includes backplate for both Series X and Xbox One controllers(XB1 model 1537, 1708). Battery pack ports and cable is micro USB. It won't show that the battery is charging on xbox menu, but pack will light orange and will turn white once finished.

I do love these batteries. They are long-lasting and fit perfect in my Xbox serious X controller. I like that it comes with 2 different size cover plates. My only complaint is that I seem to have received a defective charging cable, which is not a dealbreaker, but still a slight inconvenience. I would definitely recommend these for your Xbox controllers.

I had bought this charging station 4 years ago, until this last month the batteries stopped holding their charge which was pretty good for how long they lasted. I wanted to replace the battery packs because the charging station is too convenient. I found these new styled batteries with plates that allow charging without the station. Buthappy to know they will still charge off my old station and still work in xbox one s and Xbox one x controllers. My pictures show thses are idintical batteries from the old ones and difference in plates. Came with two different sets of plates by the wayI think for the original Xbox one controller.

The days of turning your controller off to go to the bathroom, and sweating at the “low battery” notification worrying you don’t have any AA’s is finally over! Batteries are disgustingly expensive, and horrible for the environment. And when you play The Long Dark as much as I do, you’ll run through those disposable batteries pretty quick. I love that it came with two, so if one battery drains, you can just pop the second one in while you charge the other one. And probably the BIGGEST benefit is that you can charge the battery and use your controller at the same time! Battery life is pretty good so far, but even if I had to charge them twice a day it would still be worth it; simply because of the money I’m saving on disposable batteries. 100000% worth it! You will be floored you hadn’t bought it sooner! (disclaimer because this kind of sounds like an ad: I wasn’t paid or given anything free to write this review, I genuinely think this is a fantastic product)

Definitely worth the money. Me and my husband needed these because we basically burnt our other ones out playing non-stop during covid. I will say though, I’m pretty sure we had the Xbox play and charge kit [or Microsoft brand idk] but these are better. They seem more durable and all the pieces slide in perfectly and fit snug. I charge my battery now like every 3 days and we are daily players. Grab 1 of these if you need one. UPDATEEE! So I wanted to update this review because although I still agree that these batteries are great. The biggest pro is how long a full battery lasts. Me and my husband went a couple days with no charging . However! Now that we have used them for a few months it seems like it is not so much a PLAY and charge, it’s now just a CHARGE. my point is now when the batteries are low you have to let it fully charge while not playing and I don’t know why it stopped working all of a sudden but it happens...

These are great third party battery packs and they fit perfectly in the Xbox series x and series s controllers that i have. The charge lasts for quite a while and you get 2 in a pack so you can have one charging while you use the other. Overall an amazing product that I would definitely recommend.
