Fantastic seat that is light and thin enough to put in a suitcase for travel and easy to clean
On our family's latest trip I made the mistake of getting one of those foldable seats for public toilet and hotel use. While they are ok for public toilets, since they can easily fit in a purse or bag, they don't provide a comfortable seat for the kids or have a splash guard. When we tried to use those foldable seats in our suite our son peed everywhere! We ended up ordering one of these seats on our trip and having it delivered to our friends house as it stopped the giant messes! While we also used this seat at my wife's parents house's round toilet, it did stick out on the back so its best suited for oval toilet seats. For home use we also have one of the thicker ones that bolt on the seat but those are not easy to clean or remove and much more bulkier for travel than this one. I'm not sure why others are having a hard time cleaning this one as you can easily turn it upside down to clean the splash guard area in your tub or shower. Also with this seat there are no clamps, the childs weight holds it down, so you can remove it with ease. My advice if you are going on a family trip with a toddler is to get one of these or something similar as they make using the bathroom for them much more comfortable on full size toilets.

Finally! A Potty Seat That Fits My Toilets!
I have elongated seats and I feel they are slightly bigger than average, so I was having a difficult time find a potty seat that would feel secure for my son to use. These were the solution! They can wiggle a little bit, but they are secure and fully fit my toilets. The splash guard is low enough he can sit over comfortably, but high enough to stop him from peeing over. I have noticed that at times, there can be a slight gap between this seat and the actual seat depending on how you place it on the seat, in which some pee can get onto the toilet seat, but it's a minor amount and easy to clean up. The potty seat itself is easy to clean up and since I do have a boy, I do need to clean the splash guard after each use, but it's really not an issue. It also has a slot on the back so you can hang it up (I use the Munchkin Potty Ring Storage Hook). Overall I'm very happy with this product and recommend it to anyone that has elongated toilets.

Doesn’t slide! Great for older/bigger potty training kiddos
This seat is so easy to use. It doesn’t slide around AT ALL, and it fits both standard and elongated toilet seats we have in our house. My son can easily sit down himself and doesn’t have to be readjusted placement-wise, as the opening is large enough to accommodate him as an older kid who is potty training later than a typical kid. I can tell my son feels comfortable and secure, as he is willing to sit and try for longer periods of time. The feature I unexpectedly like is the rubber feet to stand the seat up against the wall. I find it’s more out of the way vs hanging on a hook in our particular bathroom’s setup.

Good for Potty Training
My daughter is in middle of potty training. She sits on her portable princess potty seat but I was looking for a potty seat that I can fit on our toilet seat. Munchkin Grip potty training seat came as blessing for us. First of all, it is super easy to fix on a adult toilet seat. It fits perfectly on standard size toilet seat. Grip is good. Just put it and press it down. it stays put as it is. The white and green color blends well with our white toilet seat. I helped my daughter to sit on it. She sat comfortably with holding the seat on both sides. When she got up from it, the potty seat was stable and didn't came out. I also liked the quality. The material of potty seat is of good quality, not too hard nor too soft. You can use a wipe to clean it. The splash guard is made of soft material too. I can store it vertically, when not in use. It is really useful for potty training my child and I am planning to use it, till she is confident enough to sit on adult toilet seat. Disclaimer: I received the product as a gift in exchange for my honest feedback.

Money well spent
I purchased this based on a recommendation from a friend. It was a few dollars more than my second choice, but it is indeed a good product. Exactly as stated, it stays in place and fits well. Looks good and appears to be manufactured from high quality materials. It is a bit hard to keep the area underneath sanitary but what isn't hard about raising kids. I love the kids and this potty seat. I am passing on the recommendation.

Great for little boy! (And for EC too)
I have a little boy just beginning potty training. At first I tried him on the built in seat reducer we used for our daughter: pee EVERYWHERE. But that was much reduced when we started using this reducer. The splash guard is great. The guard also goes below the space between the seat and the rim, catching those pees that would otherwise go between seat and rim to run down the toilet and soak the floor. Now the only misses are if he is positioned slightly askew… but that lower part actually extends further around than the raised section, so even slightly askew positioning doesn’t have the same messes as before. Also seems well made and doesn’t slip. Once it’s in place it’s secure and provides a solid secure seat for little ones. Our toilet seat is oval and this thing fits it just fine with no gaps. We did EC with both children and this seat was what we needed to make the transition from mini potty to big potty a success. (More on this at the end of the review for anyone else who ECs) It is also easy to clean, a big plus. I got the white one that just blends into the functionality and look of the toilet. We subscribe to the philosophy that potting is treated as a basic function of life and using the toilet is just something you do. It’s not a big deal and so I didn’t WANT something flashy and bright. This reducer is plain and simple and doesn’t “talk down” to the child as if we don’t think could or would use it unless their favorite cartoon character was printed on it. I would say that I will buy again, but this thing is solid. I can see it surviving two or more children. I will definitely consider buying it as a shower present for new moms. The only two real cons I’ve encountered so far are probably ubiquitous for seat reducers. 1) it is a little bulky and we have a very small bathroom, so storage is awkward. We solved this with the side of tank storage hook. 2) it is not always quick to get it unhooked and in place. We have had some accidents because we couldn’t get it in place fast enough, especially as the little one experiments with how long he can hold it to the literal last second. But that isn’t really a problem with the product, hence it is still worth 5 stars in my opinion. As someone practicing EC, my son began resisting the mini potty at about 10 months. If you practice EC you know how difficult it can be to find things small enough to work for our little ones when we live in a culture that doesn’t even think potty training is possible before 3 years old, unless your little one is unusually small, this reducer will most likely work beautifully for the EC’d baby transitioning to the big toilet. In our case, the mini potty still works ok for dream pees or the waking up from sleep easy catch, but he refuses to use it if he is fully awake. This seat gave him a secure enough position at 11 months old that he was able to relax enough to pee and poop. After only 2 days he will now toddle into the bathroom and rattle the seat in its hook when he needs to go. I know every child is different, but my son NEVER signaled that he needed to relieve himself… until we got this seat. I was about to give up on EC-ing him until I realized he was now heading to the bathroom when he needs to go. I will probably have to either store it on the ground or leave it in place when we wrap up in order for him to gain full potty independence, but that is fine with me if it means ditching diapers forever!

Great Potty Seat!
My four year old son just used this potty seat for the first time. He was so proud of himself for sitting on the big potty like a big kid. It fits perfectly on my standard (not elongated) toilet. It snaps right in and pops right back out. It is easy enough for my son to do all by himself. I also purchased the Idea Factory potty hook. The seat fits on it very nicely. I do not suggest hanging the seat on the hook by the handle. It is a little difficult for a child to do the necessary maneuvers for this. However, the seat can hang directly on the hook from the potty hole, balancing perfectly and unobtrusively. My son can put it on and take it off the hook all by himself. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that no urine had pooled under the potty seat. It was a very tidy experience. Finally, the shape of the seat allows my son to sit on the potty comfortable without fear of falling in.

Great seat for oblong toilets
We have an oblong toilet seat, and my granddaughter was afraid to use the potty seat because it shifted. This one stays put. I like the way you can stand it on edge instead of leaning against the wall.
