used this to install an alpine deck in my 01 bmw mroadster, i dont know what the 2 plugs actually plug into, but i had to chop everything and reconnect it to the alpine harness. everything is color coded and once chopped and reconnected everything works perfectly.

The adapter itself works great and fits but when I went to go put in the black one all the pins came out of the plug. Seems like they didn't put them into the plug all the way and they just fell out.

This made installing my aftermarket head unit SO EASY. I easily saved 45 mins in crimping wires - it just worked. Connected one end to my factory BMW harness and the other end (ISOs) to my Blaupunkt and voila. Done.

I’m pretty well versed in wiring. I’ve done multiple head unit upgrades. This harness wasn’t straight forward and had terrible instructions/wiring diagram. I wired it up well enough until the plug and play harness came in to replace it.
