Perfect for long haul flights!
I had this item in my Amazon cart for a while and almost didn’t buy it. We have a long haul flight coming up and I wanted to get a warm blanket incase the flight was freezing, which can sometimes happen but I was worried that it would be too big and bulky for my carry on. Finally, at the very last minute I decided to buy it and I am so happy I did! I absolutely love this blanket! It is super warm and cosy yet very lightweight and packs into its attached stuff sack easily and stuffed is about the size of a small square travel pillow (and could easily be used as a pillow as well). Love that it snaps into a poncho so that it doesn’t fall off while sleeping on a plane. Quality looks great too (will post again if it turns out otherwise). I am very happy with this purchase and will buy more of these for the rest of my family. UPDATE: Have had this for over a year now and still love it for traveling. It’s just so warm, soft and practical. The blanket itself is made well, no problems there so far but as many mentioned in other reviews, the attached stuff sack has totally split open. Pretty much right away and with very moderate use. Eventually I will just use another separate stuff sack for the blanket once the included one is completely busted. Love the blanket itself so much though that I did buy a second one for my daughter. They do need to improve the stuff sack though. Should definitely last longer then it does. Still think it’s a great buy though.

Better than I could have expected
This blanket is SURPRISINGLY great. I bought it to use on warmer weather backpacking trips and I was skeptical about it when I first received it because it IS very light. But I’ve used it now on around 5 or 6 trips and it’s been great. Exactly what I wanted. Super light, packs small into a built in pocket AND it’s pretty cool and very functional how you can transform it into a sleeping bag using the cinch tie at the foot box and the clips along the length. Also, it’s surprisingly warm. I brought it with me last month when I hiked the Ocean to Lake Trail in south Florida. Had I known how cold the forecast was gonna be I would have packed a warmer quilt BUT I only brought this blanket with me and the overnight temperatures on 2 of the nights I was on trail got down to 39-40 degrees Fahrenheit and while I wouldn’t say I was super warm and comfy this thing kept me from freezing my balls off. (I also wore every bit of clothing I had.) So while I wouldn’t recommend using this bad boy in temperatures that low, it DID waaaaaaaaay better than I would have ever expected. Definitely will recommend this to any backpackers.

Nice blanket. Zipper needs an upgrade.
The blanket is nice - warm, thin, and stows in its own pocket.. Would easily be 5 stars with a better zipper. I got it and opened it up to test out the blanket, shawl, and sleeping bag setups. They all worked great. The sleeping bag was a little snug, but I'm 6'2" 215 lbs. The bottom drawstring held shut as intended. I liked it best with the bottom only snapped and closed with my feet inside the pocket and the top unsnapped like a blanket over me. Perfect for a hammock top quilt or on a pad. But the zipper. Oof the zipper. It likes to bite and snag on the material when you try to zip it inside of its stuff pocket. I thought it was broken the first time I tried to stow it back into its pocket. It was stuck in the middle of the track with the bag inside so I just figured the zipper was done for and pulled it apart with my hands. The zip went to one end and I pulled the bag out. Then I zipped the zipper up and down a few times and it fixed itself. YMMV. I also like the built in pocket vs a separate bag.

Warmest blanket and very lightweight.
Love this blanket! Don't let the lightness fool you. Absolutely the warmest blanket I've ever bought- keeps me warm in the Idaho Rocky mountain winter season. It's my only blanket and I sleep so warm every night. Also, the versatility of all the different uses makes it so much more than a blanket. Great for outdoor spring events, camping and fishing. Folds into itself and is tiny in your travel bag. Great value! Functions excellent and I couldn't be happier I will be buying several more and giving them as gifts.

So comfy! I'd get the bigger one if I were buying again
This thing packs down tiny, and is super comfy to wrap up in. I bought it for camping, but was surprised to find that I liked it so much I use it at home as well! I bought the smaller size because I imagined myself taking it backpacking for a little extra warmth and wanted the most lightweight option possible, but IMO that's not a great use for it (it's warm, but not warm enough for backpacking). I mostly take it car camping or use it in my own living room. It's great for wrapping up next to the fire, and I'll drape it over my sleeping bag at night, but I don't think it adds a lot of warmth to the sleeping bag - a thermal bag liner will do that particular job much better. I definitely wouldn't recommend using it instead of a sleeping bag, unless you're camping somewhere where it's genuinely hot even at night. The smaller size is also very cramped if folded into "sleeping bag mode" - it performs much better as a blanket. On the upside, it is lightweight, very portable, and has a silky texture. Mine came with a few loose threads, but TBH at this price point I would not expect it to be absolutely perfect, and loose threads are very easy to remove.

Perfect multi-use blanket
I love this blanket. It’s light, it’s warm, it’s moisture wicking and best of all, there is a built-in pocket instead of a stuff-sack so you can’t lose the stuff-sack! Great size too, and the snaps are perfectly placed to wear as a shawl when you’re waking up in the morning.

I travel a TON for work and am regularly freezing on a plane or in an airport during an unexpected 6 hour delay. Finding a travel blanket that is warm, light, packable, and easy to clean has proven to be a lot more difficult than I anticipated. However, I'm petty sure this blanket checks all those boxes. The material is soft and cozy despite being "slippery" and it's perfectly warm. I really love that it has snaps and a pull cord so I can make a blanket cave and have some semblance of privacy while I get some rest. My only slight complaint is that it doesn't pack as small as I would like, but the case is attached to the blanket itself so it can't get lost, and can be used as a pillow when not using the blanket so that's a good trade off.

TLDR Good for urban use and travelling. Would be good if onebagging Better options if your taking it hard camping, see the bottom. Its a comfortable, large warm blanket that packs down pretty well. Its a woobie with 3M Thinsulate. There is no hole for your.head or corner rings to tie to a poncho. Its good for home use, great to snuggle into on a sofa or for a kid to play on (avoid stuff that stains though). It's the kind of blanket that will be good for a car trip, carrying packed down to make a long flight more comfortable (packed size is about the size of a down jacket). It'll do on a bed as a light duvet. It'll donas an indoor sleeping bag, OK if a flight is delayed and you're on the airport. It'll do as an emergency blanket in a car, or for sleeping outdoors in a tent on a warm night, but not much more. Its big enough for an average adult to wrap themselves in. At 6'4 with the studs done up like a sleeping bag it comes up to my chin. Speaking of which, the internal bag is halfway down the stud line. Not a big issue if you roll on it with virtually no 'digging in' but this section lacks studs, giving a large vent hole in the middle of that edge. If that edge is free, it can get draughty. If your planning on a blanket for outdoors use, especially if your using it without a good overhead tarp or matt, look at the snugpack's poncho liners or the brilliant jungle blanket. Far more durable and better suited to rough wear.
