This kit is very convenient and economical, but if you are a beginner like me, don’t expect a perfect result from the first time. It definitely requires some practices. The most difficult part of the process is keeping my lashes adhered to the rod. The glue that comes with the set is terrible, it has very little adhering power. So I used my regular lash glue (after my initial failure for in first round) and it worked much better. I learned that adhering lashes to the rod in the correct way is the most important part of the treatment as it dictates the shape and curl of lashes when it’s done. Also I had trouble with the comb it came with; so I switched to using the bottom end of a spooly or a toothpick (basically any thin stick object would work better.) Also, because I’m an Asian and Asian eyes often have extra fold of skin over the eyes (it’s a type of hooded eyes), it is extremely difficult to attach the rod along the lash line without that extra skin getting in the way. I later watched YouTube tutorials done by Japanese lash lift professionals and I learned one hack from them, which is to pull the extra fold of skin (especially the inner corners and outer corners of eyes) and use a piece of medical tape to hold it. That way your lash line will be exposed enough for you to attach the rod. If you are an Asian, I highly recommend watching videos done by someone who has similar eye shape as you. It was quite a struggle the first time round, but I’m happy with the result (as seen in the photo.) I missed the little this hair in the inner corners and the outer corners, but with practice I’m sure I can do better. It’s been 2 weeks and the curl is holding up quite well. No breakage or fallen lashes so far. The cleansing solution leaked when I stored it sideways (with cap closed) so I don’t have enough for the future treatments. I learned from tutorials that I can just use clean water as an alternative, but it’s still annoying that the cleanser was wasted. Make sure you store any of the solutions in upright position. Overall there is room for improvements with the kit, but it’s very affordable compared to salon and I’m happy with the result.

1st perm experience and 1st time user. I achieved results but it wasn't quick or easy. I followed directions to a tee and even did a patch test before hand. I did have a little swelling to the eyes around the root area afterwards. Hopefully the results last and improve with experience. I had trouble with adhesion of the lift pad onto my eye lid on the 1st eye. On the second eye, I pre-cleansed with micellar water and then the provided cleaning solution and it was almost too sticky to the eye lid. Both eyes, I had trouble getting my lashes to stick to the lift pad using the plastic Y-tool in order to ensure each lash was separated and shaped as desired. I had a little luck sacrificing a couple of the pink wands to help hold the lashes against the glue for a few seconds and then using the Y-tool lash comb to shape and separate with the glue was still tacky and workable. Like coloring your hair at home, it seems this kit would be easier to have a trusted friend or family member help so you don't keep fluttering your eyes about during the process. I also think a solid colored lift pad might be easier to see lashes against and to see the texture/drying stage of the lash glue.

I had a bad experience with this, but I can’t blame it entirely on this product. First the curling effect lasted me one day only, but it might be because my friend applied very little after we were both concede about the ingredients (to be fair, all of these products contain the same corrosive ingredients) and then the next morning I got a terrible allergic reaction to a cat, it usually only makes my eye itch, but I think in combination with the product, it made my eye swell pretty bad, it looked like someone had punched me. I had to wash my eye with lots of water, and by that afternoon my lashes were straight again, so I’m my case it was a waste of money.

This kit gives me the best lash lift ever! I always continue buying this product when i run out because my lashes look so good and it’s so easy to use im obsessed also it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. Will always continue buying

Absolutely impossible for one person to attempt to do this to themselves. I watched TikTok videos on how to apply but they were doing it to someone else. When I tried I couldn’t get the lashes to go over the mold. I followed instructions to the tee and gave up after 30 minutes. A big waste of money and wish I had a warning that you can’t do this by yourself. I’m really bummed Out bc I wanted it to work out bc I like doing beauty procedures from home bc of my work schedule.

I honestly was really sus about this product but I’m not lying when I say this honestly did lift my lashes!!!, I am a person that has straight lashes and even when I curl my lashes and put mascara the mascara bring them down again, so annoying. But this picture is just after one time of doing the lash lift I’m going to do it again not sure when but I love the results and my mascara has not made my lashes go down!!! I recommend, one thing though is that the lash glue doesn’t stay on when you put the perm but when you put the plastic wrap it helps a lot!!

Ive done this twice and it doesn't work, this new kit is not strong enough but lashes wont lift, I have been using this product for a long time and it always worked, I dont know what happened this time

I just did this last night by myself, and did both eyes at the same time. Not sure if that’s recommend, but a girls got things to do. I used the M size and this was the result, which I’m very happy with. It looks natural and isn’t too curly. The process was fairly easy, and instructions on the box were simple to follow. A couple tricks I would maybe use for next time would be to trim the lash pads to the length I need them so there wasn’t excess hanging off, and let them process even a bit longer. Also I didn’t use the stickers for the bottom lashes, and it was fine. Since I did both eye, I would apply the perm/fixation, put plastic wrap on top, then set a timer for 10 mins and close my eyes. This was about 10 mins of processing for the 2 steps. I showered this morning and put one coat of mascara on, these are the results. You cannot beat the price - absolutely worth it. Also I should note, there was no strong smell or stinging or anything like that!

I just went to apply the kit and it’s a huge waste of money. The eye pads won’t stick to the lower lids, the glue wasn’t tacky enough to fix the lift pads to my skin or hold it in place. I didn’t even attempt to perm because I knew they would come out wonky.

Cracking product. One eye at a time, simple process, can’t believe the results I got. It’s worth every penny. I will definitely be purchasing again and again.
