Smith Bros Simply Pure Honey Throat Drops (20 Count, 2 Pack)

I can't have menthol. These are the only drops I can find without menthol or soy additives which I also can't have.The honey in the drops is very soothing for my throat.

I love the honey drops. In fact, I searched for several months--both online and in stores--to find them (all the other honey lozenges I could find had menthol added, which I cannot tolerate) and was delighted when they reappeared online.But as much as I like the taste and the texture, getting the drops from their packaging is laborious and sticky at best. Even using an X-acto knife to open the foil, tearing it back to reach the lozenge is difficult and will most like have you running to wash your sticky fingertips. I haven't yet tried storing the package in a refrigerator, which might help, because I really need the drops next to my bed at night.Does any other user have any helpful ideas for me?

These drops are in the same packaging I've gotten in store, but the actual drops are easily 50% lighter in color and do not have near the honey flavor. I am very disappointed.

The taste of the honey drops is the same as the product I've had from Walgreens. However, I gave it only 2 stars because the product was obviously subjected to extremely high temperatures since the honey clings tightly to the wrapper and all the drops take the shape of the inside of the wrapper instead of as a lozenge as they are when bought locally. The bags were very wrinkled as if they had been handled excessively.

Husband absolutely loves these... They don't do well in summer, however. They melt and get very sticky in the foil wrappers... I hope they keep making them for fall & winter! Already reviewed...
