Lenovo Legion 5Pi 10th Gen Intel Core i7 15.6" FHD Gaming Laptop (16GB/1TB SSD/Windows 10/MS Office 2019/144 Hz/NVIDIA RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6/with M300 RGB Gaming Mouse/Iron Grey/2.3Kg), 82AW005SIN

Brilliant laptop - Good smooth alumnium build (majority aluminum, a portion of hard plastic on lower base cover, same as legion 7i) -Great crisp screen: BOE 8bit panel, 300nits, 100%srgb, around 75% adobe rgb, around 1000:1 contrast ratio, 144hz, ~3-5ms response time, no backlight bleed whatsoever ( i thought IPS panel tend to have some bleed) and it's said to be dolby vision enabled, i'm not sure about it. (P.S. would've liked to get the other 500nits HDR panel, that would be better for outdoor use.) -Love the keyboard( smooth & good key travel) -Nice, Smooth trackpad (As compared to hp omen 15 which has plastic build, lower contrast screen, rough grainy trackpad, this one feels much better) -Great thermal system( probably better or as good as Hp omen 15 (2020 model) Has 1 major bottom vent for air intake & 4 side and rear minor vents for blowing out air( and it blows out plenty hot air under heavy gaming) (Cpu temps: on idle and video watching( in 40's), in normal loads, stays in 60's & 70's, under continous heavy load reaches high 80's) (Gpu temps: under heavy load reaches around 72-74°) (Deck mostly stays cool but gets a little warm under continous heavy load) - Each of the components ( i7 cpu, rtx 2060 gpu, wdc ssd, kingston ram), they're all functioning great. - i7 10750h Cinebech R20 scores: single core: around 470-490 Multi core: around 3300 Massive single core performance, for a laptop (which determines day to day normal load task performance, it is better than ryzen 7 4800h), Multi core performance is also good, but, yes, much lower than ryzen 7 (which mainly determines heavy task speeds like renderning) - RTX 2060(mobile): It's 100W enabled. I only play games sometimes, but i think so it's running pretty good, forza horizon 4 was hitting around 180fps on avg on ultra high settings at max performance. - SSD (wdc sn730): it's speed is pretty gpod too, probably won't need to change it to a samsung ssd. - Speakers are average(2W*2), not very loud like most laptops but headphone jack is dolby atmos enabled and it sounds very good. - it's weight is around 2.4-.2.5 kg, it won't be very comfortable carrying around in a bagpack - 230W adaptor, gets quite hot during gaming. - 80Whr battery: it's decent for a gaming laptop, improved upon last year's y740 Apparently, battery drainage seems to be faster (around 10W higher) with hybrid mode on(idky?!). So, during casual light to moderate use: 1. Hybrid mode off, quiet mode, 60% brightness, keyboard light switched off, balanced power consumption mode: 2.5-4 hours 2. Additionally, limit cpu power consumption to 50%: 4-6 hours - No Camera, maybe would've liked one but most laptop cameras are pathetic anyway - An Additional mouse present too - Would've liked to have a thunderbolt 3 port at this price range and being an intel laptop - This laptop does most of the things right with the i7 & rtx 2060(at 1.3L) but comparing laptops from Acer, Hp, msi, with same components and similar price like this, i don't think so they hold the same reliability and longevity standards as that of companies like lenovo, asus, dell( These companies have their faults too, but still at much decent level) - If lenovo would be releasing Legion 5 with Ryzen7 4800h & Rtx 2060 or 1660Ti in India that laptop would've been a better pick, but it seems very unlikely, 1650ti would probably be the highest available gpu in india with amd legion 5 when they launch it. - Asus Zephyrus g14 is decent as well, if it was not overheating this much (Undervolting can solve it but still no) - Regarding Hp omen 15 with R7, Rtx 2060, (whenever that laptop comes in stock) it is a massive beast of a laptop but still i don't know if i'd buy that, i don't think so i'll be compromising relatively higher reliability and peace of mind with some extra performance. - Overall, if you're not that extremely performance hungry that you need that Ryzen cpu (who knows when they're gonna come in market), this one is a good bet with an intel cpu.

One of my best purchases in this Price Range. Researched for over a month on this Purchase, Compared with Dell G5, HP Omen 15, ASUS ROG Strix(Which looks Jathre). Checked in Available showrooms for Touch and feel of all machines mentioned. Settled on this Due to its Performance and Looks Professional with the Discounted Price than the recent Price. And far more Better Specs & price, than Dell G5, HP Omen 15, ASUS ROG Strix. Down Side Weight of the Machine and of course you won't find these hardware in lesser Weight. So I don't Mind. The Upside Cooling system 4 sided vents, Relentless Cooling management. Loudest but stays cool except on the top Middle of the keyboard. The Built Quality good for it's sturdy Plastic materials. Better than HP OMEN 15, the Dell and the Worst ASUS ROG which felt like TOY Plastic(I Could NEVER forget that feel which I Experienced in the showroom). you will have the doubt if it's Plastic or Metal when felt. Good Tactile keyboard, With adjustable BackLit Settings. The Type-C is only for Display Port from the RTX Card. Not a THUNDERBOLT. I'm Satisfied for What I Researched for a month and That's Satisfying me all day. No Camera, Don't care. Better for Security, If Needed can work with an external one. But Inbuilt Microphone Present. 230WATT Power Brick Charges 100% in 45 Minutes from 20%. Rapid Charge can be disabled for Longer batter Life. Extra Slot for SSD Is Present for Upgrades and 2 8Gigs of RAMS's as 16Gigs even Upgradable to 32Gigs Over all It's better than what you expect. Happy I got it in discounted Price. Adios..

Stock settings (Lenovo vantage: Performance mode, Windows power mode: Best performance) Cinebench average R20 scores: Multicore: 3080 Single core: 480 Unigine heaven (1920x1080 fullscreen, 8x AA, ultra quality, extreme tessellation): FPS: 83.8 Score: 2110 GPU is the refreshed one (~105W) Games tested: CSGO: 200-250 fps Valorant: 220-250 fps GTA V: 80 fps Witcher 3: 75-90 fps (hairworks ON will give 60 fps)

After a lot of research, I zeroed in on this laptop. Perfect specs at a reasonable cost. Here are the pros and cons. Pros 1. You get 3 years onsite warranty. I do not know why the seller has mentioned "1 year manufacturer warranty". I checked with the customer care and they assured me that out of the box, the laptop comes with 3 year onsite warranty with the first year being Premium warranty with ADP. This can be extended to 2 years at a cost of 4.8k rupees. 2. The laptop manages heat very well. I played Squad at max settings and my temps were good. (In Performance as well as Balanced mode). 3. I got about 4.5 hours of battery life. I switched to integrated GPU and quiet mode for this to happen. 4. Good heat management. Earlier there were some overheating issues. But I undervolted the CPU and temps have never gone higher than 80C. Cons 1. Undervolting is blocked in the latest BIOS. One has to backflash and then mod an older BIOS to undervolt.

Overall it is a very good laptop. Pros : 1. Sturdy build 2. Thermals are good. It has 3 modes quiet, balanced and performance. However, even on quiet mode I am able to get 60+ fps at 1080p with everything set to high or ultra and the temperature for bith cpu and gpu is around 65° which is really good. I know i can push it further but I want longer life for the laptop and this much perfromance for games is good enough for me. Cons : the sound could be better. the top volume is not that good.

Delivered very fast and the built quality is very nice without any issues. The laptop is made for the professional gamers as well as architecture softwares.. The boot up speed is very fast. I liked the packing of the laptop..u will also get a legion m300 mouse in the box.. Which is awsome mouse for gaming. Overall the laptop is very good for professionals as well as gamers. Thank you Apperio sellers who has provided me this gaming beast.
