Are the microbeads in the exfoliating wash plastic microbeads or some other form of microbead?

Difficult to say, they're quite smooth and small, and as the carrier gel is quite glutenous I don't find it particularly exfoliating.

Could this be used on legs before shaving? :)

I don't think the beads in this would have the right effect on legs, it's a gentle exfoliating effect on your face
