Drainado and a shop vac is all you need to unplug your AC condensate line.
INCREDIBLY USEFUL PRODUCT! My 40' AC condensate drain line gets plugged every year. It is $175 for the AC guy to come out to put compressed air on one end of pipe and blow the stoppage out. With this Drainado and its ability to handle SO MANY DIFFERENT DIAMETER DRAIN PIPES and other associated equipment having a circular diameter device, it makes life infinitely easier and takes the guess work out of everything (Hmmm, is that a 1/2" diam or 5/8" diam pipe? Let's guess. Get it wrong and you waste time and probably money on the device you've purchased to connect two different diameter pieces of equipment). All I had to do was slap Drainado on the discharge end of my AC conduit. The multiple diameter choices on the Drainado made the correct connection simple, fast, and leak free. To the other end of the Drainado, I hooked my 3" diameter Shop Vac hose, again Drainado provided a fast and snug fit. Turned on the ShopVac and it sucked the blockage out of the drain pipe in 10 minutes. Before Drainado, we tried bleach, boiling water, a 30 foot auger, baking soda and vinegar----all we did was waste time and money until finally the phone call to the AC guy had to be made and another $175 sunk into his pocket. NOT ANY MORE. Drainado, with its ability to provide multiple diameter, snug and leak-free connections was, and will be, instrumental in unplugging our AC condensate drain now and into the future. So easy. So fast. Buy it and don't lose it, you'll need it next year, too.

Get It!!! It works! Brilliant invention!
Worked great! My HVAC guy suggested this. Gone are the days of holding my garden hose into the outside drain pipe to clear it and getting soaked in the process! Plus it takes 2 people with the garden hose method, one to turn the hose on and off and one to hold it on and get drenched! My house is running 4 degrees warmer than set point during the day. It’s July and I’m in the south FL heat. I noticed the drain outside was gunked up. I have an old shop vac and the hose end where you attach the drainado to shop vac was cut off. My hose circumference was too large to fit into drainado. Lucky for me my shop vac hose gets skinnier just about 3/4” in so I cut it down to the skinnier part with a razor blade. It did the trick. I wasn’t sure it would hold but it did w/ ease! My drain elbows upward too so I thought that might be an issue. But it wasn’t! In less than 5 minutes the drain was vacuumed out and all the gunk, gone! Unsure that’ll fix whatever might be going on. But it will certainly help me maintain my a/c drain. I’ll use this regularly! $20 seems like a lot but it’s a brilliant invention! Way less than a service call and less hassle than the hose! A day later I’m maintaining temp at set point until the late afternoon when it jumps up 2 degrees. In this heat, that makes sense! This seemed to do the trick!! Wish I had it 20 years ago!

Amazing product
This is exactly what I have been needing just hook it up with your shop vac and put it on the drain and boom all done.

Works Well
Product worked beautifully, making it easier to drain the condensation pipe. I believe it pulls more water because of the better fit on the pipe.

Just What Is Needed
Expensive for what it is but works so well. Makes clearing a clogged air conditioner drain pipe much easier. This from an almost-80-year-old-woman who decided to do it herself to save money. During the Florida summer heat, gunk can easily form in the drain pipe and cause a back up. It Costs $$$$ to have an AC Company come out just to drain it. Glad I found this attachment.

Works every time
It was about time someone thought of this. A tech in the trade for 22 years now and finally something that makes my job that much easier to vacuuming out multiple sized drain lines and not have to carry my bag of clear tubing and fittings with me every time I go to a water leak call. I threw my diyvac away, because I could only use it on 3/4” pvc pipe and still had to carry my bag fittings with me. Until this thing replaced it all. I have been beating this thing up for a while now and it’s like it was the day I got it. Definitely built to last the hands of time. I have noticed fewer call backs and complaints from my customers over the drain lines clogging up and backing up since I have been using it during my preventive maintenances. So happy I got it and did not listen to the poor reviews. It was obvious that they are not handy and tool minded individuals. The tutorial video was helpful on how to use it. A little common sense to follow the illustrations on the packaging on how to use it, is needed. Like one review, “it wouldn’t fit because my pipe is to small and couldn’t get it on.” Sounds like a personal problem my man. I would have used a coupling and piece of pvc pipe to extend it to make it work. I have no problems getting my vacuum hose to fit on nice and snug when I extended the pipe out some. Like a gasket connection every time to the drain lines. Over all this is a great tool and if used right, I will never need another one. Unless of course I leave it a call. Then I will need too.
