Feels great, quick break in time (less than a week)
I have only been using these insoles for about a month, but they broke in very quickly and feel great so far. Compared to other insoles I have used that degraded or flattened out quickly, these already feel more supportive. I can stand on my feet longer and walk for longer periods without discomfort. One thing to be aware of is how these insoles interact with shoe trees, especially in leather shoes. Because these insoles use cork, leaving shoe trees fully inserted can compress the cork and cause the insoles to mold incorrectly. If the shoe tree is pushing firmly into the heel or arch area, the cork can take on that shape rather than molding to your foot. What I do instead is insert the shoe tree only partially. I use it mainly to keep the toe box from creasing and avoid seating it fully into the heel. Since doing this, the insoles feel much better and have molded properly to my feet instead of to the shoe tree. You may also need to remove the original insoles from your shoes. These insoles are thinner than many stock insoles, which can slightly change the overall fit and heel height. In my Ecco dress shoes, the original insoles were a similar thickness, so the fit was not a big deal. In my Cole Haan shoes, the original insole was glued in and significantly thicker, so removing it changed the fit more noticeably. As a result, my heel slides a bit in those shoes now. To address that, I plan to add a silicone heel grip to reduce heel slippage. Even with that adjustment, I am very happy overall. I can stand at work much longer, my knees no longer hurt, my feet are far more comfortable, and I am excited to go walking again

Great for the cost and comfortable for everyday use.
Great for any shoe. Recommended by my sports medicine doctor and it was a great choice. Cannot wear any shoe without it now.

Great for high arches!
My husband uses these in all of his shoes for everyday and hiking. Along with the arch support, the heel support keeps his gait in alignment. He has experienced less foot pain and less low back pain. Thank You!

Decent design but can be unforgiving and not much cushion
I've tried a few different varieties of these insoles. I like and appreciate the cork design fro less plastic use. The trouble I had with these is that even when I heated them up to try to conform to my foot, they didn't really feel like they did, and felt pretty rigid and unforgiving to me. Your foot shape and type may give you a different experience, but for such a spendy insole, I couldn't find one that worked for me and I tried 3 different models with varying levels of cushion and none of them felt great to me. In particular if you have a slightly wider foot (I'm close to a 2E width in most shoes) the outer edge will bite the side of your foot. All the ones I tried did this and the heating method didn't relieve that situation at all. There's a ridge there that will bug you if your foot is a bit wider. These are also made for higher arches, so if you have flatter feet they probably won't feel great either. Well made, good ideas, but not the best comfort for me. I do much better with some of the SuperFeet insoles. Also spendy, but much more comfortable options and different fits.

Love them but don’t travel with them, sweat on them, leave them in a hot car, or clean them.
I really love these insoles and the way they cushion my feet and provide support. After a multi-week Alaska adventure Involving extensive hiking. Both of the insoles disintegrated in 130 f bedbug Treatment oven. So you can’t leave them in a hot car. You also can’t use any sort of boot Dreyer With them. That kind of defeats the purpose. You wear waterproof shoes they get kind of funky you need to clean them and you can’t!!! It’s really nice you can sort of kind of mold them to your feet, but it’s really not nice to spend $120 on shoe insoles to have that put down the drain when you have to Decon from the bedbugs from your trip. At $60 per pair, they are a horrible value As they don’t last, and they can’t be cleaned. They are fairly thick and will Change the fit of your shoes. They provide good grip inside your shoe for your sock. I loved them until I couldn’t wear them Because they disintegrated After just one trip. I’m afraid I can’t recommend this product anymore. Update 9/28 I contacted sole directly (who’s customer service is beyond excellent) and they fixed my issue.

Keep your "Sole" happy
The Sole insert is just as described. Very good arch support. These fit into various types of shoes. If you need sole support these fit the bill.

Podiatrist recommended and my feet feel wayyyy better!!!
I have plantar fasciitis on my right foot and it flared up to the point I could barely walk. I wasn't sure if I tore a tendon, but went to the podiatrist. He said I just had some tendonitis as well as plantar fasciitis. He recommended the SOLE insoles so I ordered them (FSA remibursed, too). It's weird to put insoles in the oven, but they have you do that and then you step on them to form them to your feet. They work great!!!! I noticed a change immediately and am about to buy my 3rd pair so I don't have to keep moving them from shoe to shoe.

Bought a pair to put in my Jim Green M Barefoot African Ranger Boots, as it turned out I don't like the flat sole and these insoles seemed to add arch support, just by looking at the pictures. I was right, they do add arch support and they're very comfortable. The width was OK (as my Jim Green boots are quite wide) and the length you can trim.

This is my second pair of Sole insoles, first ones in Cork. I went through a period when I tried all the big brand names as I had the time and means to do so a couple of years back. What I can tell you is they are not all the same. I came to conclude my favourites were Sif-Sole and the brand I’m reviewing here, Sole. They are very different though. Sid-Sole is great for mostly cushioning. They do a fabulous job for that. The Sole brand for this product page I have their active thick model and now the medium cork. The Sole brand gives you greater support along with good cushioning. I would say the Active model with the black vinyl bottom is a touch softer. But in both the Active and Cork, the support and cushioning overall is probably my favourite. Neither are spongy feeling. But when you walk for long distances, they seem to keep the support in the arches and heel longer than the other brands. It’s not a night/day difference but is noticeable. The Cork model may be one of the stiffer insoles I have, but not in a bad way. Like I said, they provide great support for the heel and arch that doesn’t fatigue as fast as other brands. I guess that can be the main benefit as to why you would spend more money on these. I know these companies have to turn a profit, but I think $65.00 CDN is a bit much. However, I think they are worth paying a little more for over some other brands. So I deducted one star as I would rather see these at $49.95 instead. As many ‘premium’ foot beds are about $40 bucks (aside from Superfeet) I think that is fair. But, what do ya do as a consumer who doesn’t wanna wait for a sale. Anyways, I recommend these. The Cork models also provide anti-microbial chemistry which in of itself is an added bonus as it’s not artificial and should last longer than the man made layers of tech sewn into other insoles.

Comfortable however they slide when walking even though installed as instructions. It was good for two days then started having issues. Tried using other glues and it just doesn't stay in place.
