Great Axe, price tag is a bit too high unless you want to treat yourself
I saw a review mentioning it broke first throw, I can say I have put mine through the ringer, as well as an older butcher I borrowed & have had no issues with the quality of the craftsmanship. The square design is cool imo & I swear I have hit bullseyes I would not have because of the way it tends to stick.I had a bit of an issue with shipping but that was probably the fault of the USPS.

This axe changed my game!
I bought this axe for WATL league throwing competitions. It's heavier than the ace of spades but slightly lighter than the corporal. Took me a little while to get the hang of it as the handle is longer than the other WATL axes, but it has really improved my game with the 4" blade covering more of the target. Turned a lot of those close 4's I had with the Ace into 6's and making more close kill shots. This works great on softer wood like poplar or cottonwood. But for hardwood like yellow pine, I still use the corporal.

Quality
Very good quality and throws very nice. A little heavy, not sure if that's how a throwing axe is suppose to be as I just got into axe throwing.

Best quality tournament axe.
To no design fault just be weary that wooden handle is not indestructible like full tang axes. Piece splintered off on first outing. Not enough to impact the rotations. Very satisfying when properly thrown. My favorite axe so far. Only lost star do to chipping off of handle quickly. Probably didn't help that it was really cold when I threw.

Great axe for young and old...
This beast has quickly become my favorite axe. It feels very light yet still thumps the boards with every throw. Bought this axe after joining the league, although it was labeled for experts I found it very easy to consistently throw with great accuracy. Been throwing this axe for a few months now, and it still looks as good as new!

2 lbs 2 oz -- too light for my taste. But good for some.
The head also isn't stable - I have a lot of these, this is only one where the head actually shifts when u pull it from the board. It's also significantly lighter than expected.

Handle split
I loves my Butcher (upgraded from a Cold Steel) but after about 5-6 weeks of moderate use, the handle completely broke. I threw it and it bounced off the target (flat hit and poor quality target). When it landed, it was in 2 pieces. I was very disappointed in this. Especially since I had to soak the head when I got it because it had some give to it.
