OtterBox Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G Defender Series Case - Black, Rugged & Durable, with Port Protection, Includes Holster Clip Kickstand

Very good quality case, it has lasted me a very long time.

To Begin my review I have gotten this otter case not because I was curious of getting a new case but because it's actually a replacement. Butter cases often come with a lifetime warranty and frankly that's exactly what I got. I had my original order case on my Samsung Note ultra 20 for roughly 4 and 1/2 years. And in that time as you can see from old photos the only thing that actually broke was is shock absorbency around the phone which it is meant for. During that time I have only had my phone crack once. I repeat once during the four and a half years and when it cracked it was not because of my case It was actually because my phone was ran over with a forklift at work. Comparing my old case to it at my replacement case they are the exact same thing. One just looks new than the other because it's wear and tear versus new. As like all my phone cases I do personalize my things. I attached a Kirby with a knife decal sticker. About the case itself: I personally like bulker phone cases. This is why I get this type of modeled otter case, There are different models of other cases that are slimmer for my phone type. But for me personally I don't mind, as this is what I like, I am still able to perform my tapay with ease It does not interfere with it, additionally I'm still able to do my wireless phone charging with my case on without issue, although my biggest complaint that I've had with this case over the years is the little part that protects dust from going inside the phone port breaks off rather easily. From where and tear. I think that's just a manufacturer issue of not the best design as I feel like it should have a metal piece or something hardier than plastic so it can't tear off within the wear and tear over the years. But overall I do like this phone case. In terms of installing it it's rather simple and straightforward You just have to be careful the first time you put it on as the phone case has not been used yet so clearly it's a little bit more difficult to snap it into place which is okay. I like how the sides are a little textured so it's easy to stay grabbing onto the phone when my hands are wet ect. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone with the Samsung Note 20 ultra phone. As it does its job very well as personally my for my lifestyle I run around a lot and I often drop my phone a lot and this has saved my phone countless times. I admit I'm not someone who puts a screen protector on their phone and this case has performed just fine without having an additional screen protector on it.

Update: Just had a faced-down phone-pulverizing fall that hit so hard the plastic on the Otter case fractured. I've had other slips on tile and cement that should have left this phone in pieces. Kudos to Samsung's design team, but damn this case is awesome. Finally bought a replacement case. After 2.5+ years, the Otterbox is done, but the phone is still in one piece. 100% recommend. Original review: My phone slipped when I came out the car. Hit the pavement on its corner and bounced face down under my vehicle. One of those "oh god!" scream inducing moments. I reached under expecting to find a cracked, broken phone. I slowly flipped it over, braced myself, and found the phone was still pristine. I've never felt more obligated to write a positive review in my life. I'd rate this six stars, that last being a Mario power star. The Otterbot might be made out of that.

Still the standard for armored cases for your phone (the Defender series). This is a big phone. You need a big case. Offers robust, 2-layer protection, and good screen protection from flat drops, holding the face of your phone off the surface with the raised bezel. Nothing will protect your screen from falling on a pointy rock face-down from 20 feet up, but this case is the top of the list for shock and impact protection from normal falls and corner drops from waist level to several feet. If it has a weak point it's the holster, which feels like thinner plastic than previous versions, but possibly related to its increased size. The holster is actually part of the protection package, because it adds a third layer of armor around the phone and protects the screen. And thank you, Otterbox, for providing this case without a fingerprint recognition-inhibiting, under-the-screen-dust-collecting, moire-producing integrated screen protector that I would have to remove after purchase, as I did for every Defender case purchased for previous phones. For those wanting a screen protector for their phones, buy one. You'll get a better screen protector, and when it needs to be replaced in 6 months just install another one without needing to replace your case. Highly recommended.

I've never gone wrong with an Otterbox product (especially the Defender series) going all the way back to my Samsung Note 4. Now I know I'm not the first to give these guys a positive review as their cases' phone protection is widely known, however, I figured it wouldn't hurt to add an extra one to the heap. Yes, this case is a bit bulky, however, for me, it is absolutely worth the trade-off. Just the other day I accidentally fumbled my phone when getting out of the car (an SUV) and after an approximately five-foot drop ending in the phone landing on the concrete with the screen facing down, my phone was perfectly fine. I'll admit even though I am familiar with the quality and protection of these cases I still held my breath as I picked up the phone and turned it back over. But to my relief, the screen was completely unscathed (and this was with a soft PET-style screen film by the way, NOT a sturdy tempered glass screen protector) and everything was fine. It was one of those moments that really emphasized how great their protection quality is and why the raised bezels on the top and bottom of the case are so important (which most cases even of extreme protection quality don't utilize for some concerning reason). Basically, these cases are worth the sometimes high purchase price and any expensive phone I buy in the foreseeable future will be complimented with an Otterbox Defender series case. I really couldn't recommend any more strongly. P.S. The only reason I am giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 (although I'd choose 4.5 if I could or even say 4.7) is due to the included holster/belt clip. It doesn't really grasp the phone securely enough so that the phone often falls out and onto the ground, which pretty much defeats the purpose of the holster in the first place, although I still use the holster occasionally as a kickstand for my phone while on my desk etc. The positive aspect I guess though, is even though my phone has fallen out of the holster and onto the ground several times, the case protection is so strong that none of the falls did any damage to my phone or to the case itself. HOWEVER, I do think this fall risk is something to keep in mind if planning to use the holster/clip at all. Other than that and the obvious required bulkiness, this is the absolute perfect case.

I purchased this for my phone 3 years ago, and am now purchasing a replacement. This saved my phone from complete destruction by my puppy. He's a large breed - 30 lbs at 8 months - and he loves to chew. He managed to get my phone yesterday. It has a crack in the corner of the back, but is intact, works, and has barely any damage after being chewed on. The Otterbox kept my phone from being completely destroyed, and I'm so appreciative because I would have lost so many pictures!

Its a good protector but no kickstand anywhere

OtterBox is solid, impact-resistant, and the best alternative for protecting your mobile device and keeping it in perfect condition. The frame protector absorbs every hit, but your mobile does not suffer at all. After 2 years, I have to replace it due to the number of hits that the Otterbox received and my mobile shows zero damage. Every single mobile I bought over the last 12 years, as soon as I received it, I got the Otterbox to protect it.

Best in the market...too expensive but worth it..

Really robust design, as you might expect from the name! It fits really well, and still gives good access to buttons, pen, speaker, mic etc. The port is covered with a flap when not in use. The instructions with the case aren't very clear, but I looked up how to fit an Otterbox case on Youtube and had it fitted within a minute. The outer case has a soft, grippy feel to it, and the case comes with an optional belt clip. Otterbox cases were recommended by family members, and so far, I'm impressed by this one!
