Avoid this.
I got the JCPenny "Cooks" version of this grill (same model number, different color). I agree with other reviewers regarding the non-stick bait and switch. After a few months we have a brown ring on the white surface corresponding to the element location. At reasonable temperature settings (below 300), the surface is damaged and/or food is impossible to remove from the grooved surface. It might be possible, with a few hours to kill, to clean each sub-millimeter-spaced groove with non-scratching pointed tool (brushes have been ineffective), but I doubt it. Look elsewhere.

Not too impressed with this.
I bought mine from HSN quite A while back close to the chicken virus scare so I hadn't bought eggs In A while especially since they shot up In price. When you get this they recommend that you wash and dry the tray thoroughly then run the grill for 30 seconds and shut It off then take A tablespoon of oil and smear the tray using A paper towel with the oil on It.Had I known this I wouldn't have bought It that means that you do have to use oil and or butter smeared on tray before cooking to keep It non-stick.I have another smaller and larger grills that you also have to do this I was hoping to get away from that I should have known.Luckily I didn't pay that much for this very disappointed It's A pain that you have to do this periodically to keep It non stick.I used It the first time tonight on hash browns and eggs had It set at 350°They did cook up fine and were good but on the second go around I found my hash browns starting to stick on the lubed up tray and no matter how clean I get this tray It Is still stained from the potatoes, bummer.Save your money I don't recommend this grill at all and then there were 3.
