In changing my locks to add more security to my home, this was purchased due to the easy of use and value for my money. When I received it i could not believe the durability, of the product and the secure feeling I have from this product.

Clean finish and nice fit.

Seems solid and well made, but was obviously dimensioned for a modern 1-3/4" thick door an not (circa) 1920's needed to use screw clamps and a bar-clamp to "stretch" it over my door. That said, it dealt with the additional form-fitting just fine and made for a solid installation reinforcement.

The product was too big to fit on my bedroom door after attempting to install it,The back of this product can be adjusted , but not the front , where it is very important that it fits perfectly over your bolt door, This area is what was too big and too wide.

I had a hollow core door in a house we just bought and the door had been kicked in so the door around the striker was broken. I didn't want to replace the door since it matched the rest in the house. This product to the rescue! It slides over the damage and what is really neat it the screws that normally hold the striker plate are bolts, so you bolt the striker plate to this and it holds your striker in place thus avoiding the problem of not having anything to screw into. Then you just screw it in place on the healthy part of the door and install your doorknob. Easy to install and great results!

make sure you have the EXACT size of your door frame before doing this. this includes the holes for the locks and handle but also the space between the door and the frame. while trying to install this product (it didnt fit) it actually tore up the door's paint as they have unrefined edges around the holes. it may work if it fits perfectly, if it does thats great. wish it didnt tear up the door paint when trying to put them on!

This was a perfect match for what I needed. I had a mortise lock on my 50s style front door that I replaced with a new smart lock and upgraded hardware. I made sure the fit would work for my situation and sure enough after test fitting and redrilling for my new equipment; it was just what I was looking for. Aesthetically and security wise. Love it.
