Where can i order a new charger for my bissell perfect sweep?

Mine is still going but I would contact dealer directly when it happens.

Updated answer: I bought a new Turbo Sweeper since the battery died on the old one after less than 4 years. After the new one arrived I opened up the old unit. You just need a long philips screw driver. There are about 8 screws. It comes apart easily but be careful so you see where all the wheels and belts go. The battery pack is a set of 6 batteries packed together. Overall it is 7.2V 1.3 Ah, 20 A Fuse. They are Ni-CD. There isn't a part number. How do you know when its time to charge. The red light, when charging, never shuts off

Recharge only when moves slowly. I charge over night for 12 hours or when red light turns off.

Can I keep this sweeper plugged in 24/7 or will it run the battery down in time?

Not sure but I don’t do it. I just recharge and unplug when finished.
