Watched a YouTube that recommended this kit. I wasn't even certain what all was wrong with my Echo but it had sat unused for over ten years. When I weren't to with on it the little pruning bubble disintegrated.Having never rebuilt a weed eater before, I followed the instructions and what I saw on the video, dumped the old gas and added a can of 50:1 weed eater fuel from the auto parts store. It started right up and I was able to weed eat the whole the yard. No issues. No issues the second time I've used it as well.Excellent parts kit, simple install. Highly recommend.

This carburetor fit my echo SRM-225 perfectly. The tuning of it was perfect didn’t even have to adjust it. It was very easy to install. I love how it came with everything I needed it helped complete the yearly service. The gaskets were a very good quality. I love how it came with the air filter and fuel lines for the fuel filter. I got the echo SRM-225 started in no time fires almost right up.

Fits the SRM-225 perfectly.Fuel line install is easy and grommet fits REALLY SNUG. easiest way to install it is if you pull the fuel lines out before installing the grommet.Carb and gaskets fit right in place.The included air filters are great. I didnt use the spark plug. A genuine NGK plug is only a few bucks… please don’t cheap out on a plug.Fired right up. Carb was a little rich running out of the box and leaned it out a bit but that was an easy tweak.

It was easy to install, it's started right up, and the trimmer ran like a new machine. I was impressed. There are times though, after running for a bit, where it starts to sound like it wants to quit. Sometimes times it does quit. I don't know why. I understand these come preadjusted but it makes me wonder if it's need some subtle adjustment. Nevertheless, my trimmer use unusable, and now it's not. You can't beat the price. It's hard to believe everything you get for such a small investment.

Received in timely manor. Was easy to install ( very close to original). Required minor adjustment. Would recommend for others to use to fix their carb issues

This was a perfect fix for my Echo SRM 225. The carburetor and fuel lines were a direct replacement for my unit and fired on the second pull. I had already done my yearly service so I will save the additional parts for next years maintenance.

I was having problems with my Echo SRM-225 so ordered a carb (not this one from a different company because it was on sale). Put it on and it was total junk. I repair 2 cycle engines and work on so many Trimmers so I know how to replace carbs. Carb was leaking for no reason, was taking 10 pulls to start, adjustment screw literally did nothing sat there and adjusted the low speed screw all the way in and out and no change to rpm or sound wasn’t working.I threw that away and ordered a HIPA which is my go to honestly for aftermarket. I should have just gone with them from the start and ignored the sale. Got the HIPA same day put it on, echo started on 2nd pull ran perfectly fine no adjustments for 5 minutes, turned it off waited 5 minutes now starts on the 1st pull every time since. Came with all the pieces fuel line, spark plug easy to install, all the parts needed for an OEM replacement.

worked great on my gt 225. no adusting needed. bolted it on and a way the trimmer goes. thank you HIPA
