Is it resistant to water?

I doubt if it's water proof. Too many cracks and crevasses for water to get in. I used my row counter every day but can't imagine putting it in water.

Does it remember your count if you turn it off?

I dont believe it does. I would have to try it and see.

What do you press to make it count up? Is there a button on the side?

Top center or bottom center buttons add to the two different counts. Works pretty easy even when you are standing at a base coach position.
