SunLift is a reflector suspension system which allows you to adjust the height of a hood in one simple movement. The tension mechanism will keep the hood in place once it is set at the desired height. The support strings pull out and retract like a yo-yo. Features a Japanese made stainless steel, heavy duty spring. This premium quality product is superior to all other brands on the market. Competitive products are simply not as strong or reliable as the original SunLift brand. A pair of SunLifts can support up to 22 lbs. Finally a simple way to raise a hood as plants grow! Maximum extension length is 4½ feet.

Did not work for me.
The vendor is superb. He gave me my money back without a quibble. The device is a great idea but very poorly implemented. It is fine for hanging low value replaceable items. Not for hanging high value lights or similar difficult to replace items.

one worked fine, the other would not work
one worked fine, the other would not work! I suppose I would have to buy 2 sets in order to get one working set.

Great solution
I use this with 4-foot shop lights for growing seedlings. This allows me to easily raise or lower the lights to water and think the seedlings. They seem to handle the weight of the shoplights just fine.

Couldn't figure it out
Maybe I'm just stupid, but I couldn't figure out how to use this product based on the instructions provided. It looks like a quality item, which is the only reason it got two stars instead of one. I bought plastic chain and removable links instead. THAT technology, at least, I'm capable of comprehending.

One way ticket to the GARBAGE.
One "kinda" worked while the other wouldn't budge in nor out. This, of course, necessitated opening the unit which, of course, shot the mechanism all over the room...PURE JUNK.

Great item
These hanger are very easy to install and work just like they are designed, makes adjusting light a snap. If you can fine these hangers for under $20 you would be getting a great deal.
