I have 5mm thick glass, and this magnet maintains good contact and is easy to move. Still, I wish the magnet were a bit stronger. Overall, I'm happy with it—it's a very high-quality magnet.

I’ve been very satisfied with this. I’m not sure how I kept my 10 gallon aquarium for three years before finding out about this tool! Now my glass is crystal clear and so enjoyable to look at my corals and fish. The only thing is, I have to scrape every three days, but this tool makes it easy!!

This scraper works so well! The scraper is made so that sand can’t get stuck in the blade and scrape your glass. It’s quick and easy to clean away any of the gunk that builds up on the glass without having to reach in and get your hand all wet. It’s easy to switch sides of your tank as seen in the attached video. It’s not too big so we just leave it attached to the side of the glass and it doesn’t block too much of your view. Although, the magnet makes it easy to take it out if you want.

Stop thinking about it and buy it. If you have gotten this far to be reading a review you need it. It’s the best scraper on the market. It works amazingly well, Makes glass invisible. The blade takes diatoms and other algae off like it’s a lightsaber, don’t waste your time with cheaper ones. This one is more expensive for a reason. It’s the best!!!

This is a good scraper for any aquarium. Just be mindful of your glass thickness. The magnets aren't quite as strong as other magnetic scrapers I've used so it may not have enough pull to scrape any hard to get algae. That being said, these are definitely my favorite and I have multiple in different sizes.

AMAZING SCRAPPER!! I got a cheap scrapper that was $13 a few years ago. It was much smaller. It was magnetic, and I had to tie a string on both pieces while cleaning. I've used it a few times inside the tank, but I've barely used it. I decided to get this one and it's much stronger and more effective. This size covers more surface area and it comes with a scrapper. I found it difficult learning how to flip the inside in the beginning. All I did was detach the outside piece from the glass so the inside can float a bit. You basically want to lose some of the magnetic attraction. Then I flipped the outside handle 180 degrees. Once I did that, I brought the inside piece closer, and it began flipping to the other side. I was able to use the scrapper side. I repeat the same steps to use the other side. I got used to it. I recommend this scrapper to help clean your tank.

Weak for 30 gallon Cube. Replacement Blades are VERY expensive.
