I had the variety pack in the past so I figured why not try the ones with caffeine, I love these, they dissolve easily like the other ones, and I dont get jitters from them because the L-Theanine. Good flavor too, these will be on subscription!

It works as far as giving you energy but the taste isn't that good. I just chug it down and do my workout.

Hydrant Hydration Drink Mix is perfect for people who have hydration issues, or are athletes. It’s also a great way to get a boost of caffeine without resorting to soda or coffee. It’s low in sugar, has electrolytes to help hydrate, and has the previously mentioned caffeine. I found this product easy to use and dissolved nicely in cold water. The packaging is very modern/hip, and the little packets are great for travel. The downside is this product is a bit pricey for everyday consumption. I found the raspberry lemonade flavor to be just OK, a bit on the tart side. I am going to play with the amount of water I use, per the instructions, to get the right flavor to water combo.

I am a big fan of Hydrant on first taste. I feel like getting enough water on a day to day basis can be such a challenge, especially with a small, growing family. Hydrant was the perfect addition to the start of my day. The caffeine is an added bonus! In the summertime, coffee doesn’t always sound that great, but Hydrant was a great replacement. I, personally, like that the flavor is very mild. I created my version with 12oz of water and ice and the flavor was what I would call a hint. I am perfectly fine with this. I want to use the product every day for a few weeks and see how I feel. Overall, I am pleased with the product!

You know that metallic, salty taste in your mouth that happens right before you vomit? That's exactly what this tasted like. I tried different concentrations, thinking that might be the problem, but, no, I get the same result every time. I had high hopes for this. Raspberry lemonade sounds like an amazing flavor. And with a little caffeine! But I couldn't choke down more than a couple of sips, because I genuinely felt I was about to vomit due to the strong resemblance of pre-vomit taste. I was looking for another alternative to help with my POTS, but this ain't it.

The negative: It's somewhat bitter. I don't detect any lemon flavor other than a slight sour note and definitely don't detect raspberry. For the price, it doesn't have enough flavor. The good: It's a nice balance of salty and sour. It's not cloyingly sweet or overly flavored. The perfect level of caffeine to keep you going, but not make you jittery. Bottom line: It's mid. I've had worse, I've had better. Given the price and the negative, I won't buy this again.

I tried Hydrant last year since it had much less sugar than Gatorades and Powerades of the world. I loved the original non-caffeneinated version, so decided to give this one a try as well. Best hydration powder with the caffeine has really helped me stay hydrated while cutting down coffee. Hydrant is not only effective in hydration and tasty, but also clean and simple ingredients. Great for everyday use, after flying, working out, hangover, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I like this a lot. Not too sweet and definitely gives me a boost of energy . Some similar products have a weird chemical taste, this does not. Give it a try!
