Hi everyone! I’d like to leave a really wonderful review for this product. My story began when I wanted to dye my natural hair into something natural-looking, but a bit different. I ended up leaving the salon with black hair at first, but I didn’t like that black. Then they did an AirTouch on me, but the AirTouch turned out almost pure blonde. Neither the first nor the second result made me happy. I went around with that AirTouch for about a month or a month and a half, until it fully faded to yellow. Then I found this dye. It was in a beige tone. I tried it, and I was extremely satisfied because the color turned out very even, beautiful, and without patches. Even the black from my roots left over from the first dye slightly lightened and looked more natural. It matched my roots really well. Overall, I’m very happy with the result. Honestly, I think it’s even better than the salon result I got two months ago. I don’t know how it works on dark, natural hair, but in my case, most of my hair—about 80%—was lightened with AirTouch, and the roots had been dyed black. After all of this, this is the result I got, and I really love it. If anyone has a situation similar to mine, I’d say go for it without hesitation because this is truly an amazing product, and I highly recommend it. Especially for the price—it’s just a steal. How is "ash beige" described as smoky ash, actually a warm reddish brown in some spots and purple in others? This literally ruined my hair. It either deposited copper or lifted my natural brown to red. I have white areas which turned purple. It also fried my hair after only 10 minutes on my hair and the color has no dimension or shine. 0/10 do not recommend.

More like a toner, not a dye because the color stayed in my hair for a couple of washes. I did love the way it made my hair look but definitely not worth the money for it to go away after a couple of washes I would not buy this product again and I would not recommend buying it.

My hair is naturally an ashy blonde, but a while back I had bleached it to platinum. My roots have grown out a couple of inches. I decided to try this dye out, not only to blend in my roots but also because I just want a slightly lighter, cooler tone than my natural color. The top two photos are before + during, the bottom are after. So this dye is very interesting. The packaging is very cute, it doesn't smell bad at all and I like how it came with ear protectors, gloves, and a cape. It is pretty messy to use, so I used the instructions paper as a cover for my sink. I love the texture of this dye. It is so thick and spreads very easily. I was surprised! I let the dye sit for about 15 ish minutes, I didn't want it to be too dark. When its processing it looks very scary, like a super dark purple, but it came out nicely! I was scared because my strand test came out really purple. The bleached parts of my hair are more silver while my roots are more beige. My hair isn't that dry after, but I used the hair mask it came with. It is a bit frizzy. If I have any advice to give: your starting color is very important. Also, make sure your hair is shampoo'd clean with NO conditioner, hair spray, hair gel etc.. Also, if you have long hair, buy two or more packages. I'll update my review once I find out how long this lasts. I hope it lasts a while because I love the color!

I feel like it’s hard to choose a color because it’s a little hard to find info on this product! So I used the Ash Beige and I love the results! I don’t know if I would say it’s ash, but it evened out my hair and I really like how it turned out. It was the easiest, least messy hair dye I have ever used. No strong smell, I love that it comes with a cape and the little ear caps. I tied the front of the cape so the back would be tight under my hair. My hair also felt great after using! The dr bond stuff it comes with is awesome. Do be careful with shaking, the lid doesn’t go on very tight. But it’s cute and super easy to use, I would definitely recommend it!

I dyed my hair with Ash Beige in early April when my hair was a cool toned grey, and this is the result after 2.5 months. I can no longer upload older pics during the fading process but this hair dye is one of the best for those who do hair dyeing DIYs. The reason is because a lot of hair dyes only focus on the immediate result instead of the actual maintenance. This hair dye makes you look as if you got it done professionally as the color is very sophisticated, as well as the fading process. Since this is not a hair manicure, it doesn’t stain the hair and makes sure that the color fades back to a blonde (if you bleach your hair). Which is rare when a lot of Western brands can never return my hair back to a blonde because they end up staining my hair, and the only way to remove it is to bleach it or cut it. As someone who loves to change hair colors often and easily gets bored, this is perfect. TLDR: If you want your hair to look natural and professionally done, this is the best DIY brand.
