Bates- Foam Paint Brushes, 2 Inch, 16 Pack, Wooden Handle

I’ve been using these Bates 2-Inch Foam Paint Brushes in combination with my gloss projects, and they are an absolute game-changer. If you want a smooth, professional application, the value for money here is honestly mind-blowing. You get a massive 16-pack that is priced so affordably, it feels like a steal for the quality you're getting. What I love most is the durability—these aren't just "one-and-done" disposables. They actually last a lifetime as long as you make sure to wash them out thoroughly right after use. They handle liquids well, and because of the thickness of the foam, they hold a generous amount of product without any leakage or messy dripping, giving you total control over your workspace. The 2-inch size is incredibly versatile; it’s the perfect "fits-all" dimension that works seamlessly on all types of work, whether you're covering large areas or touching up smaller, detailed surfaces. They are okay brushes. The handles and foam are good. The only issue lies in the cheap, thin, and brittle plastic core in side of the foam. All the ones I have used have broken. Most of cores broke during washing, because they were not supposed to be thrown away after one use. They would be much better brushes if the cores are made more durable. I would give it a 7/10.

These are perfect for gluing table tennis rubbers. So much better than the over priced brushes from the table tennis brands. These soak up the perfect little amount of glue and move it around like painting.

I use this type of brush for applying Rubio Monochrome stains. It does a great job pushing the stains into the wood allowing for good control, and little dripping where it's applied. These sponge brushes are cheap, and you don't feel bad tossing them after use. It's nice to not have to clean brushes.

Durable and a good value brushes. I need a bunch of 3" foam brushes for various small projects around the house. The local big-box and hardware stores wanted $2 for just one brush. The variety packs had more options, but the brushes are delicate and the plastic core inside the brush breaks through the foam with just 20 minutes of use. These brushes are much more durable, and the price is SO much better for what you get. One brush usually lasts me through one task. The blue color is also easier for my old eyes to spot in a sea of black tools and equipment.

These foam brushes hold up well provided they are not heavily loaded and used with a light hand. The one thing that I did notice is that you need to wash them and massage them through your fingers a bit before using because they tend to leave tiny little black fibers which is really noticeable when using light paint or poly on light paint. Maybe on typical wood stain you wouldn't notice it.

I'm not nice to paint brushes - I don't clean them soon enough, or I'm too rough with them, or I'm just not a good painter... I much prefer disposable foam brushes for this reason My local Orange big box store has foam brushes for over $2 each - insane pricing. The foam brushes work just fine. They're not the best ones I've ever used, but they don't shed foam material when they start to go. I'll just notice a tear starting to develop and that lets me know I'm going too hard. Then into the bin and out with another.

Works as a foam brush should. Price is right

Great foam brushes - seem to be lasting longer than the usual black foam brushes I've used. Foam feels denser than usual, allowing the brush to load more product (I've used for paint, shellac, urethane)
