So I heard a lot about Ring Fit Adventure but having used Wii Fit previously, I wasn't sure how good this particular "game" would be. Rest assured though, that it's very very good. Right off the bat, it gives you a range of options for some quick workouts for key muscle areas, some minigames, even a nice rhythm section where you can play to some Nintendo beats. The core of the game is the Adventure mode, which is like a lite JRPG with unlocks "skills" -- skills here are new exercise routines and techniques. A typical 'adventure' involves going through a world, which has several areas. The end of the world has a Boss fight. Each area asks you to jog around, while pulling and stretching the ring (working out the arms, along with glutes), and then you run into enemies which can be defeated by using the aforementioned skills -- squats, stretches, etc. It's a very clever, and frankly quite a taxing exercise routine that keeps pushing you forwards through XP points, new unlocks and new skills. After each routine, you can also get a rough measurement of your pulse rate (using the IR window of the joycon) to get an estimate on the efficacy of your workout. Bonus points: it's a hit with the kids too. They love it. Highly recommended! If you have a Switch, you should get this (I've been trying to grab once since last year). It's a great way to keep in shape during lockdown (or otherwise).

The product is excellent. We are enjoying the game. But the cost is on the higher side. The price should be less.
