LONECONE Backpacks for Boys & Girls, Sizes for Preschool, Elementary & Toddlers

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It's almost impossible to find little backpacks for little children that actually fit their papers. I was so excited to find these backpacks, but based on the mixed reviews about folders fitting, I figured I'd take the risk and see for myself. A 9 1/4 x 11 5/8 folder does fit, but the top corners have to bend slightly. The backpack is tall enough, but it narrows where those top corners are, so they don't fit in there perfectly. We are keeping it and my 4 yo daughter was squealing with excitement. And we love the patterns! She was happy to pick out her favorite one.

My daughter loves this bag. It could be just a little taller as it won’t fit a folder without bending the corners. It will fit a regular size paper. I will take that over a huge backpack for a 5 year old. Bought for kindergarten. Like the different pockets and the water bottle pocket.

This is way too small for a book bag or backpack. There are way better quality elsewhere, like Costco. This is poorly made. I do like the design, but the quality and durability are terrible. Very thin. Not enough pockets. This could be a good beach bag I guess?? My child’s items do not fit in here.UPDATE: 2021: ok, so I’ve changed my mind on this bag. At first I thought it was junk. But after awhile of having it I had a ton of use for it. My son uses it as his beach bag, extra clothes bag or his bugout bag. He puts extra clothes in it as well as plenty of snacks and drinks whenever we go somewhere. Which is a lot. We are always going somewhere for over a few hours a day every weekend. So this bag came In handy I SHOULD NOT HAVE JUDGED SO QUICKLY

My 3 yo son is 39-40 inches and weighs ~30 lbs. This fits him perfectly. Doesn't hang too low, isn't too small, and holds just the right amount of fun stuff. He doesn't go to school/preschool, so I don't know how it fits that kind of stuff. It's perfect for him to carry around snacks, a drink, a million little pj mask and paw patrol figures and have room to spare. We got the dino print and it is cute as a dang button.

I received this item today which I ordered for our nephew. This is my first Lone Cone purchase but I have long been interested in their product line. The thing that stands out the most with Lone Cone is the patterns. The patterns available are fun and timeless meaning when you buy something with one of their prints it will not quickly go out of style when the trends change.The next thing you notice is that the products were designed by a parent who thinks about everything. As an elementary school teacher I see proper zippers as a lifesaver. This backpack has durable zippers with larger zipper pulls on them to make them work for little hands! The quality is also apparent in the assembly of the items. Kids are notoriously rough on things and while lightweight this backpack's materials and construction look like they can stand up to the abuse a little one will undoubtedly put it through. Finally the bag the item is shipped in is reusable with a space to write a kids name on it. This is not only green, but in a time where we often send school supplies to school, it is a perfect way to send things in labeled and not have to worry about the return of a bag.I look forward to future purchases of Lone Cone products and know you will too.

I loved the print on the backpack and was happy to see they changed the size to accommodate a folder (which one did fit just fine for us) but after the very first day of kinder my kiddo came home with a broken backpack. The return window is only 30 days for this item which is very disappointing. And then the seller requests that Amazon is contacted with any issues vs them. Thankfully amazon took care of reimbursing me for this item so kudos to amazon for being great. Sadly I will have to say steer clear of this items. It’s cute but may not stand up to normal use for one day.

Nice backpack my preschooler used it for the first time today. Fit everything she needed. My only issue is the zipper to the big main compartment is catching on the fabric and jamming. This is our second one the company did contact me and let me know to check our 1st one for any stitching issues. It did have an issue and they refunded us right away which was awesome. Hoping this second one doesn't become too annoying or a problem for my little one at school.

Make no bones about it, this 17” backpack is perfect for keeping our little learner prepared and organized for school. With plenty of space to pack his school binder and library books along with his Lone Cone lunch box and even a change of clothes, he has everything he needs to get him through the day. Although he doesn’t use the padded laptop sleeve, we do appreciate the various compartments for keeping items separated as well as the water bottle pocket that will accommodate a taller bottle. The durable poly-nylon material can withstand the daily beating of drops, scrapes and tosses he inflicts, and it’s easy to clean. Best of all, our little dinosaur fan really digs the fun skeleton pattern.
