Some reviewers have mentioned a stronger note of cherry than is present in the original flavor, but one should also note that there’s no caffeine in this syrup. The liquid caffeine additive is purchased on Amazon has a slightly bitter taste that interacts with the cherry and comes out tasting exactly the way you expect it to!

Too much cherry, not enough vanilla or almond flavor. Reminded me more of cherry coke, when I got any flavor other than cherry out of it.Haven't decided yet if it's worth the cost to buy more of it.

I love the real sugar Dr P, but it is not available, except on rare occasion in our area. I use this in my SodaStream and love it. As close as you are going to get to the original formula outside of the Great State of Texas. (I guess that means I need to visit my mother-in-law living in Grapevine, Texas more frequently.)I marked the 28oz fill line on my bottles with a marker, carbonate, and add 4 pumps syrup.Getting one of their pumps is a must do to make it convenient. Yes, there sometimes a couple of drops of syrup leak after use, but I found that if you give the pump a slight tug up at the end, it seems to stop the drip most of the time. Pump improvement might be an opportunity for someone in the future. For now, I just put a paper towel down under the bottle to catch the drip. A minor inconvenience for this outstanding drink!

Meh. Not that flavorfull, have to use tooo much syrup to make a normally flavored drink.

I am a native Texan and have enjoyed that historical carbonated beverage from Waco all my life. Then I found Doc Sugar. I don't buy that canned stuff anymore. I find the taste of Doc Sugar to be identical to those soda fountain DPs I had as a young boy in Abilene and my mind goes back to days spent catching horned toads and cicadas and playing sand lot baseball. Mix 4.25 ounces per quart in your soda stream and you will have yourself some of the tastiest beverage you have ever enjoyed.

Great product taste as good or better then Dr Pepper. Had a couple mix ups with my order but they took care of everything 🤙 we originally ordered cola,which is better than Coca Cola and it made us try the doc sugar my grandkids love it and say it’s better thanks

I live that it tastes like the original Dr.P from my childhood. Not just sweet, the real flavor of the soda pop. Yummy!

My Husband is a Dr. Pepper fanatic. He loves the taste of this and that it’s made with real sugar. I’ve already had to reorder it, it’s that good.
