Fabulous little pan
Absolutely awesome pan. Became my family’s favorite after first use and it continues to amaze and perform super well with every use. Washes like a dream and nothing sticks to it.

Update…
Update: had to completely strip inside with stripping pad, bathed in vinegar and then good wash. Seasoned on stove top twice and only now after five months can I cook an egg. Factory coating was terrible. Safe ? IDK. But terrible nonetheless. Shouldn’t need this much effort to use, especially at the price. If this hadn’t worked it was going in the trash, not hyperbole. Original review: This pan is lighter …and the handle does not get as hot as a “regular “ pan would. May be one of the prettiest pans I’ve seen. But contrary to all the experts, this pan sticks like none other and I have a lot, too many even, pieces of cast iron. Even a buttered hamburger bun wouldn’t release easily. I seasoned it many times over the next few weeks and even lightly sanded the high points off leaving the low spots to help with seasoning. Yet, months later, while it is much better it is still the most frustrating pan I own. I have cleaned and seasoned found pans that were rusted and even had deep pits from years of exposure and water that after cleaning and seasoning performed amazingly even with fried eggs, not so with this one. Few weeks bought a lodge on sale at Amazon for under $20 and after seasoning and a couple weeks of occasional use works so much better as an egg pan. And while not sure, much research on whether this pan has been treated with silicone coating has me concerned as more than one source says that Iwachu, especially the omelette pans have been coated with silicone baked for rust resistance and will wear off over time and use. So not luvin’ that. Anyway, just wanted to share and hope you have better results. It is a nice looking pan and was so hoping that as it is designed like old fashioned French omelette pans it would behave more like one. I use the lodge but occasionally use this when I’m feeling positive but not yet…

Love this pan to make my eggs again and again
This pans shape is unique and makes it easy to flip the eggs out without a mess. It also lets me cook the eggs at the same time as my morning hash browns. I just move the pan off the burner at the right time and the cast iron finishes cooking the eggs and keeps them warm until I can plate them. I love being able to do that. The pan is very light for a cast iron pan and cleans up easily with warm water and no soap to use the next day. I coat it with grape seed oil and turn up the heat occasionally to keep it seasoned and kill germs.

Just get it!
As a lover of cast iron and oil I own a bunch of Lodge, Victoria, Staub and LC. While I love them this is so drop dead gorgeous looking, just beautiful design. It is light. The handle doesn't get so hot. It makes the perfect omelet. Just use enough butter and season it from time to time

Wonderful item
Very exceptional quality! Have used it so many times since I got it. Japan made and beautiful shape . Handle is great comfortable style. Was a great surprise of craft man ship. Worth every penny I paid for it. Highly recommend this iron pan.

Our go to small pan
Use it several days a week for egg omelets, scrambled or over easy. No sticking if you use it properly by using the correct preheating and temperature, a little oil or butter and just hot water and a sisal brush, no dish soap for clean up afterward. Also good for sweating down or sauteing small amounts of mirepoix, onions celery carrots bell peppers mushrooms, whatever. I'm never letting go of this pan.

Handle can break
Looks like quality, ease of cleaning, weight is very good. Package arrived with broken handle. Does that mean I need to be careful as ceramic cookware? I have a Lodge cast iron pan, which is solid and durable, but I wanted a lighter weight pan for omelet. Hoping to order again when on sale. I will update when I get another one.

Excellent omelette pan that doesn't stick.
excellent omelette pan. it is a perfect size for a 3-5 egg omelette. just made my first omelette and had zero sticking. pan is light for cast iron (still heavy for a small pan). i can confirm that the shape of the handle does keep it cool enough to hold when the pan is being used. i am really pleased with this pan. i was surprised when it arrived in 2 weeks from japan (much faster than expected during covid)
