Fast and Fun Gameplay
A cooperative game played with 1-5 players (although I have not tried it with 1 player) that has a hard cap at 10 minutes. Players work together to defuse a multitude of bomb cards by collecting sets of dice as they are rolled. Some bombs require easy combinations of dice to defuse, others require much more specific dice combos as well as some stacking into towers and pyramids to increase the difficulty. A player rolls dice and everyone grabs one that they can use to help defuse one of their two bomb cards in front of them. There are penalties for not being able to use every single die every turn, so it is imperative that you communicate with the other players. This continues around the table until the game's end. There are also cards in the center draw pile that make you discard dice from your bombs, making it more difficult to defuse them. You win by clearing out all of the bombs in the draw pile at the center of the table, you lose when the timer hits zero and the bombs blow your group into oblivion! It is played very quickly and frantically and can be a bit stressful at times, so if this type of game isn't for you stay away as you'll probably dislike it. The companion app is great as well, including 2 "voices" for the timer countdown, and a useful score calculator that saves your scores so you can compare your scores throughout all playthroughs. Overall great game, it always comes with me to game nights because it is so short and action packed that it frequently makes it onto the table. The only difficult portion of the game to understand is the symbology on the bombs. Learning what those symbols mean is important, but becomes second nature after a playthrough or two. Fuse is easy to understand and play, and most importantly fun! I definitely recommend this game. I've uploaded a few pictures so you can see what comes in the box. 3/8/16 Update: This game was recently awarded the "Major Fun" award - well deserved!

Sounds easy and it is until you realize that the people ...
The time is ticking and you will simply find that in most cases you don't have enough. Fuse is a cooperative dice game in which you have to match up your dice to the cards in front of you to diffuse your bombs quickly. Sounds easy and it is until you realize that the people you are playing with often need the same dice you do or can't find any dice they can use and that's where the beauty of the game lies. You have to communicate your decisions and your need for particular dice then weigh them against the good of the group overall oh and did I forget to mention there is a timer that is constantly ticking away? The stress level when playing this game is off the charts but man so is the fun factor. I promise if you like cooperative games but feel they aren't much of a challenge you should give this one a try. We have played several games and have yet to win one on the easiest setting. Don't worry we will get there and when we do you can scale the difficulty to your liking. This is a fabulous game full of fun and quick wits as you try and stop the fuse. Full disclosure I believe that playing this game without the app wouldn't be near as fun you can do it but don't so there is that. Also it is very hard to win even on the simplest level. It will take some time to get into a rhythm with your playgroup and you will require multiple plays to get even remotely descent at it. Good news it's only ten minutes per game but like a potato chip you just can't eat one err... play one that didn't really work out. Either way highly recommended.

Fun if a Little Too Luck-Based
I like games with a time limit to them. I REALLY like cooperative games. This one is both! There are a bunch of cards that you have to "defuse" to keep the "bomb" from exploding. (A "bomb" with a ticking timer would've been great! But it would've added great cost to the game. The makers compromised by creating an app that will countdown for you.) Each player rolls as many dice as there are players. Each player must then take one die and place it on one of his cards as long as it follows the requirements of that card. The players just all need to decide what die is going to what player, because if any die is not used, then there's a good chance dice that have already been played onto cards could go back into the bag. Once cards are completed, they are set aside and new cards drawn. There is a chart for how many cards must be completed before everybody wins. I played twice with one friend on "Training" mode and we got beat both times. One reason for this may be that in a 2-player game, both players take two dice. This seems more difficult to me as it's easier for me as a player to need one die. "Okay, I need a red 6 or any 4 or any 5 or any yellow." After the roll, I can immediately yell out which of the dice I can use. If I can use three of the four dice rolled, it's easy enough for other players to tell me which of my three dice they need. In a 2-player game, if I can use three dice, and my teammate can also use three, then we have to go through a whole process to see which one doesn't work for each of us. It just seems more time-consuming. Another issue was that with only four cards out, we were finishing them quickly and throwing those dice back into the bag, so we ended up not seeing a single black die for five straight minutes. Guess what I needed to finish my card? That said, I think this is a fun, crazy game. The timer app really makes you nervous. And you're less likely to Ooopsie like you do repeatedly in Escape. Plus, it's great to have a cooperative game where one person isn't telling everyone else what to do, as can happen in Pandemic. If you're looking for a cooperative game where everyone is involved, this is a good option (though Castle Panic is probably better for families).

10000% worth it!
My fiance and I LOVE this game! It is a little confusing to learn at first and some specific situations that happen during gameplay are not covered in the instructions. But once we got past that hurdle and decided "house rules" to resolve those small issues - we can't stop playing! We were looking for a good 2 player game that wouldn't get boring for when the kids are having quiet time or busy with other things. This delivered! It's a fast paced game where you roll dice and work COOPERATIVELY (we didnt know this until reading the instructions- but you could make teams of 2 if you have larger groups and just try to beat each others times) to place the dice on cards that contain "rules" on how to defuse the bomb. Once all cards have been turned over from the "draw" pile, you have successfully defused the bomb. It gives you a 10 minute time limit to do this. The first time through when we were learning it took us about 45 🤣 but since then we've gotten a lot better. The first few times through my 4 year old daughter wanted to play and kept taking our dice, but even with the handicap we got it down to 15 minutes. Once we were able to play alone it only took 5 minutes to finish the game. This is perfect for anyone who doesn't want a game that will take all night! There is also different rules/variations from beginner level to insane difficulty. All in all it's an awesome game and im very glad I bought it. That being said.....im not sure I would have paid $30 for it seeing as its just dice and a deck of cards, but I'm glad I purchased it at the sale price of $11.😊

Fun, engaging lightweight cooperative game - great game to engage the non-gamer
This game has a lot going for it to hook the non-gamer (and is fun and engaging for the veteran gamer) -lightweight (easy to learn, rules are simple and you don't have to wade through exceptions to rules) -cooperative : since everyone is trying to complete the goal, competition anxiety isn't there for the beginner -no real downtime : everyone plays for the entire play period -no player elimination : everyone plays all the way through, there is no "out" where someone just sits there -hard 10 min time : you are racing a deadline this keeps game short (low time commitment), and naturally drives engagement as a player can't "drift off" mentally it's great little warm up game or a game to play if you don't feel like pulling something out - it's sort of a shot of coffee in that the time pressurebring you "up" instead of putting one in a contemplative mood. If you've got a non-gamer who doesn't like games b/c they are "too slow and cerebral" - this is a great antidote to that. This game is played in a hard 10 min time limit (which is the point, it's a deadline game)

Fun co-op game
Really fun game. We haven’t played it with just 2 yet, but we played it with 4 and kept running out of time but it was still fun.

An amazing game.
Incredible and fast paced game. It's easy enough for most people to play but challenging enough to win that just about anybody will find it fun.

Sumamente rápido de jugar
Es un juego divertido, entre 1 y 5 jugadores, se juega en 10 minutos y es excelente para una noche ligera de juegos de mesa.

Good quick and casual game.
Fast paced dive rolling fun. Easy to pick up and tough to master. The companion app is a nice touch though not required. Good for the whole family though kids would need to be slightly older to be effective. It's also good as a warm-up game or something in between some other multi hour larger games.

Buen juego

Fast, light fun for most.
This is a great game for anyone who likes fast, furious and hectic problem solving. Ten minute play time means it's good for a quickie, filler or as a way to perk up the company! And the app with score keeping is a great bonus. Just keep in mind that it requires quick thinking and co operative teamwork.

Perfect for kids
I have kids (4 - 9 yo) and they all love this game. The dice create a lot of randomness that can vary the difficulties of games, but the only cost is rolling more dice. And the only thing better than defusing all the bombs, is watching the bomb blow up in the ipad app.
