There is something magical about these- when I use them my dog is "super obedient" and flies to respond to the instructions. I have used many training treats and have always worked with any products I saw used by trainers that have worked with my dogs but nothing, and I truly mean nothing, has worked to get the response these do. My very curious and energetic German short haired pointer has a strong attraction to an area of the yard that we think puts her at great risk of jumping over our 6 foot fence and getting out ( that is how we adopted her- she kept getting out of the prior ownwer's yard and my husband was newly retired and available to be with her at most/all times, so we were fortunate to have her come to us but we are always with her outside for fear she could get out and run away.).Her trainer told us we don't want her to discover she can get over the fence because she flies like a gazelle when she jumps. We have done everything we can to protect her from this area of the yard but she is drawn to it but using these treats immediately stops her in her tracks. When she gets to the area of the yard that is the riskiest part for her to be able to get onto rocks and jump over fence, I have been training her with these treats and say "cookie come home"and she flies- really flies- back. Other treats I have used get her to respond but not with the energy and attention these do. She zooms back with gusto and zest. Only thing is that my husband says she will learn to go to that part of the yard more often to get these treats, but I make sure she gets them exclusively now for other trainings so that doesnt happen. I do wonder why they work so exceedingly well but will not argue with success. I just bought the mini trio variety pack to see how the other flavors work for her.

My dog LOVES these and they work well as a dry food supplement. My dog is more of a picky eater as he's gotten older but these have been on his list of favorites for a long time.
