The product ingredients can be compared to an SPF rating of 30. Since this is a naturally-derived product, it is not regulated by the FDA or USDA, and therefore does not contain an SPF rating.

So Mineral oil is considered natural? Last I checked it's a petroleum product, hardly "natural".

Mineral oil comes from oil that occurs naturally in the earth. It is distilled, purified, and refined so that it can be used on skin and also can be ingested because of its laxative properties. Mineral oil is perfectly safe and has amazing properties for moisturizing skin. Not everything that is "natural" is safe: cyanide, snake venom, uranium, for example. On the other hand, just because something is man-made doesn't make it unsafe. Mineral oil is simply a by-product of a natural product.
