Carhartt mens Knee pad, Acidic Green, Medium US

Ordered these for my boyfriend. They fit his carhartt jeans great! Easy to put in and remove. He hasn't complained and said they bend/move good and they help ease the tension/pressure when kneeling. SO, If you're a man who's on your knees alot *wink* these are for you! Good quality. Great for the price. Doesn't effect warmth.

Excellent product. I can kneel on concrete throughout the day without a care. Not bulky or heavy so you barely notice them while walking around. They don't get caught on things like exterior knee pads. You can leave them in the pants in the laundry, they wash a dry just fine. You do have to unroll them afterwards sometimes, but it's easier than dealing with rolled up bra pads! They do occasionally shift to the side during use, but it only takes a second to shift them back into place. I wear loose-fit pants, so I can also just yank my pants to the side to get the kneepad in place. Might be more difficult in more close-fitting pants. All in all, they work great, and I want to get more pairs for all my work pants!

Luxurious knee protection. 4 Hours kneeling on concrete, no pinch no pain. Use in carhart Steel line pants also, can remove before washing. Amazing working pair. Worth the investment. Heavy use in farm/construction/cultivation, they can take a beating.

These are good. And in some ways, a step up from conventional knee pads. Pros: they stay in place and I forget I am wearing knee pads (kinda). They are somewhat padded and definitely take away the sharpness of kneeling on wood or concrete. I don’t have to worry about putting them on or remembering to pack them in my truck. Cons: they get pretty toasty. My knees were sweating when the sun came out. I definitely noticed them then. And you can’t take them off to air out. The padding is just okay. I don’t think these are meant for a full day on your knees. Just on and off. Getting them into a pair of pants is a process. So these guys will stay in one pair of pants only. Overall: I appreciate having them, but I wouldn’t buy a second pair. They are a bit pricey for what they are.

I do industrial maintenance. I used to never have my kneepads with me when I needed them. Now I've got pants with kneepads in them. Good size and flexible, nice light weight. Way more comfortable than wearing the straps around your legs, fighting with them slipping down. Doesn't get too hot, and most of the time I forget I'm wearing them slipped into my pants. Saves my knees from concrete and metal on the 12hr shifts, just enough thickness and firmness for my 170lb frame. highly recommend.

I work in heating and cooling so I spend alot of time in crawl spaces there thin so you still feel the small sharp stuff and your knees get sweaty. The pants that go with them are pretty expensive and dont hold up that well overall wouldn't recommend.

They are a little expensive, but you buy them once and you forget about them ..only time You will remember and are grateful is when you kneel down. I am 54 years old and More brittle than I used to be. I drive a tow truck in new york and work in all kinds of weather. I have these pads in four different sets of work gear . Some of the first pairs I got are like gotta be Almost five years old and still going strong. I have to wash my gear once sometimes twice a week in the winter to get rid of the salt and they are still as soft as they were when I got them but yet firm. I also like them because they do not hold water.I have a set in my rain gear. I am constantly Kneeling down on broken glass and plastic parts, so the pads definitely. Protect. My knees and keep me a little warmer and drier when it's cold slush water. I am leaving this Review after my fifth pair. Rather than take them out which is a pain in the butt.I just leave them in every pair.I just bought a new pair. I hardly ever leave reviews But I figured because of the price I had to let people know. They're getting their money worth.

So I admit I was skeptical about these at first, but after getting five pairs of knee pad insert compatible Carhartts via a uniform allowance at my employer, I decided to give these a try and so I got one pair of the medium size. After a couple months of working with these, honestly I think they’re great, especially when you’re not in the mood (or lazy) to get out your 1’x2’ kneepad to get some plumbing/waterworks stuff done. So far they’ve held up fine and fit nice and snug. The one drawback i’ll say besides the somewhat higher than expected price tag is that they can be tough to install WHILE you’re wearing your work pants/jeans. Honestly you’re better off just inserting them when your pants/jeans are OFF. And while the first attempt at folding them to insert them may be a little frustrating, after a number of times doing it they seem to wear in so it’s not that big of a deal. I would give this product 4.5/5 stars!

These are great knee pads that work well. They are pretty thin but they are better than not wearing them. They bunch up in the small slot in carhart pants which is super annoying. They say to wash the pants with them in. I think you should take them out. They are NOT easy to put in the pants or take out but I feel that is more a pants issue than the knee pads themselves.

Ther pads are quite slim. As a result they don’t offer too much support. That said they are quite firm which seems to help little more with there slim profile as there is less room for them to compress. But that les travel results in them feeling firm on your knees. They do work and I feel they will stay consistent for a long time where other more padded ones compress and become useless. They just don’t offer as much padding as I would have liked.

I was very hesitant to buy these considering the price point (45-55 CAD), but Carhartt clearly spent a lot of time and money into developing these knee pads. I've been using these on slab construction for a couple months now, regularly having to be on my knees to work on the ground, and so they see a lot of use each day. It's easy to install, but does take a little more effort to remove. I don't plan on keeping them in the pants for the wash, even though Carhartt states they are wash-friendly, I'd rather not reduce the life for such an expensive pair of pad inserts. While it is comfortable, it takes a second or two before the material to "soften up" and form to your knees on the ground. So don't think you can drop to your knees and not feel pain - because the pad material seems to act like corn starch in water where it stays "hard" when it's impacted, but then becomes soft to form to your knees. I think the product could benefit from a slightly thicker padding. Not sure if it would fit in the inserts so easily if they did that, though. Another big positive is they do not shift or fall out of the pant pocket whatsoever as I've experienced with other cheaper pant/pad combos. With my old dickies pants and $10 inserts the corner of the pad would fall out of the bottom insert sleeve every day without fail.
