Good, but…
I tried a RDS on my Glock, but could not consistently acquire the dot. I’m sure with practice it would have worked. This definitely works better, but it’s going to take practice, just not as much. Does not shine very bright in a dark room.

Amazing
What it is: - A night sight, it will glow in complete darkness. It's bright day or night, if it isn't then it's old or faulty. - A combat sight, it is not for accuracy as in target shooting. It is for quick defense shooting. It's an amazing sight that is easily picked up no matter the lighting conditions. Mine on a G26 hit where I put it, as long as I put in the work. Sure groupings aren't as tight as traditional sights from longer distances but a 10 inch plate is easily hit at 25 yards repeatedly.Think of it like a hybrid to using a red dot, as it kind of mimics that. The only thing is there is no real adjustment left or right and none up and down (one could shim a little I guess for elevation). It isn't a concern really though as the sight again is meant for torso sized targets not bullseye. What it does beat a red dot at is size and weight, it's small and sleek. It's not going to snag or gouge, it's not going to make a carry package larger. So for a defense weapon, especially like the G26 (and brethren) it's a perfect option for many.In the end sights are personal and everybody like different things, personally this is going to be my go to defensive night sight setup. It's not cheap at about $130 to $140 but that's close to many other higher end brands, so not a huge deal to me.

It looked good but didn't work right & Meprolight busted their back making it right.
Edit#4 - Meprolight did fantastic customer service. They had a replacement sight back to me within a few days of receiving mine. Meprolight's service and the concept of the sight get 3 stars. I still love the idea of this sight and the dot and ring are great in full light. I'm able to see the dot in full dark but it's much dimmer than other traditional night sights I've used. This may be because of my eyes or because I bought the red sight instead of the green. I still need to get this thing to the range so there will probably be one more review and there may be another star or two.Edit#3 - So far so good. USPS did their job and got my sight to Meprolight. A couple days later over the weekend and Meprolight informs me that they are shipping me a sight and it should be here in a couple days. I'm eager to see what I get.Edit#2 - RMA authorization received same day. I get to pay to ship it out for warranty service tomorrow.Edit#1 - I found a good email address for Meprolight and shot them an email on Friday. They responded this morning with an RMA request form. Good so far. I've sent it back and now it's their turn. More updates as things happen. I'm hopeful for now. - Extra edit: I received a call from Meprolight. Turns out that they not only responded to my email but also to the voice mail I left. Positive signs.I bought the self illuminated (tritium) red sight because I want a sight that works in the dark. What I received is red and very cool looking and has a pretty red dot and ring when the sight is exposed to outside light. The problem is that it is completely black when exposed to the dark. This makes it entirely useless as a self illuminated night sight. I wonder if I was sent a sight that's so old the tritium wore out or if there's even a tritium insert at all. I'm trying to get hold of anyone at Meprolight to see if they can get me what I thought I bought. If they come through, I will amend this review.By the way, the in case of problems phone number and email address on the package insert are useless. The number won't receive calls and the email address can't be found.

Great Seller
Usually when you get all fives it is because everything went off without a hitch. When I got my gunsight I could not see it in the dark which means ... all the Tritium gas has leaked out of my 1.21 Gigawatt Flux Capacitor and the Nuclear regulatory commission would not let me return the site . ( actually there is some brick wall you will hit about sending flammable or explosive material through the mail) But when I called LG out doors of Wetumpka Alabama, the staff could not have been nicer the lady was very helpful and we chatted about it being just south of Montgomery ( State Capitol) Not only was it defective but it was the wrong product She smoothed out the wrinkles and made everything right. Kudos to LG.Anyone buying the Meprolight MEPROLT FT Bullseye , this is a cross between a Guttersnipe sight and a Armson OEG , this is great for Suppressors because unlike the sights that look over the top of the can these superimpose a sight picture through the can .

First real innovation in pistol sights in a long time...
I've tried lots of sights from standard notch and post, TFO's, Big Dots and even have an RMR on a Glock 19. I'm not ready to throw everything else away after two range trips, but this very well could be game changing to the industry over the next few years. No batteries or electronics to worry about, no giant red dot screen interfering with concealed carry, and you get a brilliant easy to use sight picture. Bit of a learning curve to use after thousands of repetitions with standard sights, but basically you see a green dot, and when center a bright circle appears, put the dot on the target and press. Works in bright sunlight to dark just fine due to tritium in the tubes.I will say if you have need for MAJOR power reading glasses these will not help as much as a true red dot sight like an RMR will. I wear 1.25 reading glasses for more comfortable reading and computer work but can get by without if needed, and these sights work fine for me without correction or "Cheater" safety glasses.Very happy I bought this sight, a great compromise between $100 quality hi visibility notch and post sights, and full on $500+ with milling quality red dots that bring thier own issues.
