Works great
These timers work great. You can program two different hoses/zones, start times, days of week, watering duration, and more. I don't like that it is only possible to manually water both zones. It is not possible to only manually water one zone. Batteries last a complete season.

Great timer for our garden watering!
We use for our garden watering system. With the dual hook up we can manage a larger garden area with just one timer. Pretty easy to set up and use. It has worked well for us.

Cannot schedule different days for the zones and cycles
I bought a total of three of these units for lawn and garden irrigation. First I just bought one, checked it out, liked it, and decided to buy another two. When I bought the first one, there was one feature I didn’t like. This was the manual override. Setting a manual cycle is quirky and not user-friendly. Also, say you you only want to run Zone B manually. No matter how much I tried, I couldn’t do it. Both Zones A and B run, and the only way I could find to run Zone B alone was to set the manual duration for Zone A to 0. I was disappointed but decided I could live with this.Apart from the above, I was happy with everything else I checked. The fittings for both inlet and outlet are good and snug - no leaks with just hand tightening - and the overall construction is solid and not cheap-feeling.It was only after I bought the additional two units that I found another flaw that I was not happy about at all. I had not checked this feature with the first one because I didn’t anticipate the need for it. It was later, when setting up my irrigation system, that I realized I needed this feature, and this unit does not have it. The lacking feature is the ability to set different watering days separately for the two Zones. For example, I want Zone A to irrigate my flower beds daily, while I’d like Zone B to operate only on Tuesdays and Fridays. Can’t be done. While you can set different times of the day for each zone, they both have to share the actual days of the week. The instruction manual describes this feature under the heading “Individual Control” with the words “Independent scheduling on each zone, each valve works like a separate timer.” Not true and misleading, I’m afraid. To get around this problem I had to add a single zone timer to the Zone B outlet and set the single zone unit to run every Tuesday and Friday at the exact same time as this unit. All in all, a pretty good product, but with a couple of quirky issues. If you can live with those, then this timer will be fine for you. But if you need the two zones to operate on different days of the week, then I would continue shopping.

Keeps wild life away
I have feral cats, raccoons, possums, that try to inhabitant under my house and fight and squabble all night a lot. So to stop that from happening my son hooked up this sprinkler device on a motion sensor and every time, even a squirrel after the bird’s food or cats trying to pounce on a bird sets off the sprinkler and of course the animals hate their shower. Now they walk a very wide circle away from my house. The water does not hurt them and I am happy not to have those problems any more. It was amazing how much the wild animals disliked being sprinkled and how fast the learned to stay away. By the way we use a second one on a timer to water our vegetable garden almost every day so our vegetables are growing by leaps and bounds without our being available to do it with having to work and everything else that’s going on in our life. Works great. I particularly liked the one with motion sensor that discourage the animals because no matter how we tried to cover up all the openings they always manage to make their home under the house. And that cost me $1200.00 one year to get them removed. This little device wa under $75.00 and works perfectly! I love it.

I bought this a while ago and finally tried to set it up and it did not work.
I went through the directions, pretty simple but it would not water to the set schedule. Regardless of the settings, when I turned the water on at the spicket it would come out of the timer. Regardless of the day, water cycle, etc...

Died after a couple months, good customer support
Update:Good customer support at least! After it died, I contacted Dewenwils support, and they were very quick in responding. Unfortunately they were out of stock for the 2-outlet model and were unable to ship me a replacement. But they did refund my purchase, which processed very quickly. So, even though the product didn't work out for me, I'd be confident in purchasing from Dewenwils, based on the customer support experience.Original review:Sturdy built, clumsy interface, but nothing matters unless it works, which it doesn't.Bought as a replacement in the fall, worked fine from September until no more watering. Brought it out of storage for Spring, and it can no longer open the valves to the two ports. The timer still works, the interface still works. I put in fresh batteries and tried to turn on manual watering to confirm it's working, and it isn't.Short lifespan!

Great timer
Use it on my 4 raised beds. I can time them separately for what I have planted.
