It is the best gouache with low price. Very good colours and pigment.

I really enjoy painting and wanted to start learning about gouache paints after seeing some beautiful artwork online. I got this set because of its relatively cheap price and recommendations artists had given it. When it arrived I immediately broke out all my materials so I could test the paints and make a swatch sheet. I didn't realise at the time of purchase but the set comes with three brushes and a palette, which was nice. The paints were easy to get ready and I had a very enjoyable afternoon painting with them and getting used to this medium. I had seen online that if you don't seal the lid properly, the paints crack up and it can be a pain to activate them again. However, I am yet to experience this issue as every time I open up the box the paints are perfectly ready to use. As I said earlier, this is my first set of gouache paints, however since then I have tried other brands. I can safely say these paints are the best quality of all the ones I've tried out. 100% recommend.

This is my first time buying gouaches, and I must say it is amazing! For the price, it is an absolute bargain for the amount of colours and transition shades it provides inside each individual tub. It is a fantastic quality and consistency, it dries very quick as well enabling you to rewet and break down the gouache again. It also came with a palette and 3 brushes! Each colour is also named. However, when you open the box, they are each individually all sealed making it annoying as you have to open each one, and some is wasted at the seal and you'd have to mix each one, which means it's also easy for colours to mix next to each other but regardless it is an excellent buy!

Very good value for money, high functionality with a variety of high-quality accessories, and whilst there is a lack of colour diversity within the brands, no one is buying it to look pretty, it's functional, good size, not too small for paints, but not too bad, very transportable, especially as a student, nifty high-quality paints, for beginners, or professionals alike.

Good quality paint lovely colours, easy to mix, but can be messy

I bought these for my daughter as she's started to show an interest in art again after a couple of years struggling with her mental health. She loves them & showed me the picture I've attached to the review which she painted using these paints. The only downside she mentioned is that they do develop a dry layer on top pretty quickly & also the pink develops a bit of mould. But she just scraped that off & was able to use the paint. I think it would be better if there were a way of resealing the little tubs after use, but otherwise these are lovely paints with a great range of colours.

Good product

This is my first set of gouache, and I love them! I did my kids birthday cards with them. I find the paints a bit strange to use, a different consistency from acrylics and watercolours, but they got easier to use the more `I read them. I found if you want solid colour you are best to mix a small amount of water with them, otherwise they are too dry and drag. But being obsessed with Studio Ghibli and The Simpsons, they work perfectly for that style of art!

Soy estudiante de artes, me las compré para tenerlas en la Ebau, para el examen de técnicas de expresión. Nunca he estado tan contenta con unas pinturas en este formato, incluso las acuarelas las suelo comprar en tubo. Me sorprendió que venía con tres pinceles de tipos distintos, y la verdad es que son de los mejores pinceles que he utilizado en mucho tiempo, las fibras son suaves y flexibles, permitiendo trazos fluidos incluso si no tienes un buen pulso. Pigmentan y se diluyen de maravilla, las mezclas son fluidas y permite trabajar con capas. Me acostumbré rápidamente a ellas, tienen lo mejor del acrílico, como su alta cobertura y capacidad de corregir errores en capas diferentes, y lo mejor de la acuarela, como su fluidez y capacidad de reactivar con agua, lo que hace que nunca necesites desperdiciar la pintura de la paleta. Un consejo, para evitar que se sequen una vez abierto, guardar la caja en un cajón donde no de el sol, o un armario, lo ideal es un lugar fresco. En caso de que se sequen se reactivan, así que no hay de que preocuparse si no pudiste evitarlo. Otro consejo, nunca limpiar la paleta, de hecho, mejor comprar varias, porque siempre puedes reactivar las mezclas en segundos, por mucho tiempo que lleven secas.

I still use these colors and they are wonderful! Light fastness is also great.

インスタでこの絵の具を使ってる方が結構居らっしゃって、気になって購入。惚れました。リピ買いもストック買いもしたいくらいお気に入り！！ 開ける時、開けにくい角と開けやすい角があるので中々開けにくい場合は他の角から開けてみてください。 少々特有な匂いがしますが、「無理！」って程強い悪臭ではないのでお気に入りのアロマでも焚いて誤魔化しましょう。

I was very disappointed with this gouache set. I purchased it expecting the original gouache quality, but the paints did not perform like gouache should. The colors are extremely transparent on paper and lack the opacity that gouache is known for. Even after layering, the coverage is still weak.
