Yes you can wear pulse oximeter fingertip all night and record results on ur phone all night, i have done it to record my heart ❤ rate and o2n rate as well.

Can the app update the Apple health app

Does not appear to. But has it’s own app.

Can it be recorded on a computer?

There is an app that you can download, however I've chosen not to use it due to the user agreement conditions being way to invasive. It may be worth reading into the small print before you decide to use the app. The item itself works fine but not the best you can buy in this price bracket.

Does it work with artificial nails?

Nail polish or artificial nails may affect the measuring accuracy, and too long fingernail may cause failure of measurement or inaccurate result. In addition, please pay attention to below operation also: 1. The finger should be put into the sensor correctly. 2. Do not shake the finger and relax during measurement. 3. Do not put wet finger directly into sensor. 4. Do not let anything block the emitting light from device, i.e. do not use finger nail polish/paints. 5. Vigorous exercise and electrosurgical device interference may affect the measuring accuracy.
