Powerhouse Reliability—Delivers Steady Energy to Your Thriving System
Swapping in this Thermaltake Smart 700W power supply into my Dell Precision desktop was a breeze, and it’s been powering my high-demand setup—complete with a fierce CPU, GPU, and multiple drives—without breaking a sweat.Right from the first boot, it felt solid and reassuring, like a steady foundation. The 700W rating gives plenty of headroom for all my components, and the 120 mm fan is whisper-quiet even under load. It’s clear Thermaltake struck a good balance between cooling performance and noise control. My system hasn't skipped a beat since the upgrade. Whether I’m rendering, gaming, or running multiple drives non-stop, the desktop hums along with no instability, no coil whine, and no unexpected shutdowns. It’s been rock-solid in delivering continuous power when I need it most.Whether before gaming, everyday work, or professional use such as video editing, 3D modeling, or other heavy computing demands, this power supply provides constant and reliable power. All things considered, this Thermaltake PSU delivers dependable performance and peace of mind. If you're looking for a no-fuss way to support a demanding system without breaking the bank, this one’s a strong pick. I highly recommend

I mean... it works, and has worked... for 2 years... I game... A LOT
People say this badboy goes out on them in weeks, I have had this thing for 2 years on an I9 12900k... running a 4060ti on an AS rock z790 pro, and I have had ZERO issues... I know I should put something... better in here, in terms of a psu, but so far, no issues. Great uhm... cost effective purchase/solution... will get something modular... eventually lolI just don't want to have to redo my whole build and cable management.UPDATE a little over 3 years and it's still going strong, running 64GB of ram, and went and got a 5060ti... about to replace this little gem wit a BeQuiet! Dark Power 13 850w variant... its modular... I still don't want to redo my wiring... but alas, I guess it is time.

good value.
OLD REVIEW, NEW REVIEW AT THE BOTTOM: In the clip attached to this you see my budget build running off this psu, and I must admit my first impressions were great, however whenever you run an intense sustained load like shatterline (the game in the clip, free on steam, not sponsored) for more than 10 minutes it's only a matter of time before you get a black screen crash forcing you to hard shutsldown and switch your power supply to off wait a minute and turn it back on. Worst part is there is not error code to go off of. After days of trying to find the issue I tested this Power supply in some other systems and it had the same issue. However if you just need something to run a system that will never see much load this will work. I have used thermaltake powersupplies for years and know they are good. However if you need something to power your high end gaming rig the thermaltake smart is not it.UPDATE: I was wrong. I am quite certain that the power supply is very good. My Pc was crashing for other reasons and I didn't know any better. I got an expensive power supply and had the same issue. Turns out my power supply was faulty. Great power supply and a good price, honestly I would recommend, and will certainly buy in the future.

Reliable and Quiet Power Supply.
I’ve been using this Thermaltake 700W PSU for a few weeks now, and it’s been excellent. Installation was simple, and the braided cables gave it a clean look inside the case. It runs very quietly, even under load, and my system has been stable since the upgrade. Great value for the price, and the 5-year warranty is a nice bonus. Highly recommended for budget and mid-range builds!

Ignore the bad reviews
ADDRESSING THE OTHER REVIEWS ---Lots of reviews on here really are dumb, written people not knowing what they're doing. First off, a lot of people are getting a PSU with too low of wattage to power their system which will cause the PSU to fail which is where most of the bad reviews come from.HOW TO DETERMINE HOW MANY WATTS YOU NEED --Go on PCPartPicker and put all of your computer parts onto the list and it will tell you at the top how many watts your pc uses, then add around 150+ to that number. That's how many watts you should look for in a PSU. Also, Newegg has a wattage calculator tool that works well too.ADDRESSING THE LTT PSU TEIR LIST --The Thermaltake Smart 80+ rated D on the LTT forum is a DIFFERENT PSU. This PSU is the Smart 80+ White.MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PSU --If you're wondering if you should get this PSU, then yeah probably. I recently upgraded my GPU to an rx580 but when ii got it I realized I would need a high wattage power supply because that thing is very needy. When I got the PSU it smelled like china(cheap plastic) but this smell went away after a couple of hours of use. The cables are ugly but this didn't bother me because I had white sleeved PSU cable extensions. The PSU works as expected, and is pretty quiet. For the price, I would recommend this. If anything happens to this PSU ill update this review.

This power supply runs my PC amazingly, and I had zero problems installing it. I really like the cables they’re not too bad the fan is really quiet and I really recommend it for the price. My PC never had issues with power and supplying the power. My PC needs I really recommend for beginner PCs and for first builders.

Bonne alimentation 700w
