Yes, water will stay cold for a couple of hours and yes, the bottle does sweat but not excessive amounts. It all depends on the environment you are in, i.e. inside or outside.

Why permanent adhesive stick?

These bottles do not come with permanent adhesive stickers. Some people may add them to personalize their bottles and make them more identifiable.

Is it possible to buy another spout and straw? The spout cover broke off after minimal use

I don't know if the company sells just a spout and straw. It's a cheap plastic hinge. What's to say that it just wouldn't break again. I went back to Contigo brand and bought 2 water bottles from them. Their bottles last longer than 3 weeks.
