OMG. Total disappointment!
This is not the first book by Schwager, and I have enjoyed the previous ones. But this one is total disaster. I started reading and the first character seems to be ok, but Jack clearly added him to the book because of his friendship. I don't understand why was the 2nd guy added to the book...Throughout the book, I couldn't find anyone who would clearly state what their edge is. I don't get the books gist. It seems that the author just wanted to write another book so he decided to write. But overall, I would give this one just 1 star. Just a waste of money.

Keep on Writing, Jack
I have always taken to books about profitable traders with verified returns, and Jack Schwager does all the required due diligence in the Market Wizards series. I have read every single one of his books multiple times, and Unknown Market Wizards (UMW) did not disappoint. I have a favorite Wizard for every book and my vote for this book goes to Marsten Parker, who has a 22 year verified track record of 20+% CAGR, and surprise - whose key takeaway to new traders is "Not to quit your day job". Overall, couldn't have been more satisfied with this latest installment of the series. Keep writing, Jack....

Why the political commentary?
I wish Jack would just stick to writing about the traders and their experiences. Unfortunately he has to get his "jabs" in against conservatives and President Trump whenever he sees an opportunity. For example, after the final interview of the book, when Jack is giving his summary of the trader Pavel K., Jack makes the out-of-the-blue comment that he bets "President Trump would be an awful trader because he has never taken responsibility for any mistake or failure." Seriously?Since around 50% of the population supports President Trump, do you think comments like this are appropriate if you are trying to appeal to the masses? I can only assume you want to sell as many books as possible, right? Do you not see how insulting 50% of America could be detrimental to your reputation and sales?I would like to say that the rest of the book more than outweighs his occasional snide remark against President Trump and conservatives, but as many have already commented, this is a good read, but not his best work. Three stars is being generous.

The most disappointing in the series
I was so looking forward to this book. Having read all the previous market wizards books multiple times, I had high hopes. The line up in book pales in comparison to previous ones. Where are the likes of Ed Seykota, Bruce Kovner, Bill Lipshutz, PTJ, Mark Minervini and so many others. The saving grace - it's an easy read like the others, so doesn't take that long to finish.

Best book of 2020 for me - Market Wizards is Back. Time to Study, Learn and Improve
The Market Wizard Series is THE collection of books which have 100% changed the course of my life and career (Yes, one day I hope Jack interviews me for his next book - Please don't retire writing by then; give me max 2 years).I have been waiting for this book since I first found out about it in 2018. I even met Jack and Peter Brandt. I didn't even know who Peter was till I met and saw his presentation. I was just blown away. Funny thing is Jack mentioned a "trader" during his conclusion portion of the interview in his previous Market Wizards book and I am assuming it is Peter Brandt. Jack has known him for a while. I knew Peter was going to be interviewed for this book after meeting him in person and I have been waiting anxiously to read this interview. This book is filled with amazing traders and is the most unique book of the series. I am reading about traders who made it in the markets by using the most unconventional ways of trading. It is quite mind blowing to see this. These Market Wizards are still trading their style which is just epic. I have been reading non stop ever since the book got released - I have Audibook, Kindle and Hardcopy. Yes all 3. Why? Because I love Market Wizards books and I STUDY them anytime I want, anywhere I go.If you always wanted to know how some traders make it big and you want to become a Market Wizard yourself - Read this book and all his other books in the Market Wizards Series.Yes, I do personally know a few of the Market Wizards profiled in his books - All have read his books. This book and the entire series is absolutely legendary. Jack's book will stand the test of time.Very grateful to you Jack for writing this book for all of us.Thank You,Your Next Market Wizard to be interviewed by you

Required reading
I followed the buildup of the much-anticipated release of this, the 5th book in the 'Market Wizards' series. It landed on my Kindle on Tuesday and I devoured it. Jack is a master of his craft and put a lot of time and passion into this. I have read all the books in the series and have enjoyed a long trading career, yet I found this book extremely useful. I could relate to a lot of what was being spoken about, yet the book filled with so many additional insights. I underlined a lot of sentences, including Jack's take-outs (in the summary sections at the end of each chapter). My favorite chapters were: Peter Brandt, Richard Bargh and Chris Camillo. This, however, is a personal preference related to my own trading style. Thanks for including Peter Brandt - he is just an incredible individual with amazing humility and profound, helpful advice. Jack did well to include a diverse range of traders from all parts of the world, each with their own style. I am about to do my debrief of the learnings and the physical copy is en route from Amazon too in order to fill its place on my trading bookshelf!

Buy it
Are you thinking of buying this? Then i would say buy it now and you will not regret it. The author did a great job in the first books and this is just as good. You will not learn which trades to take but what this book will teach you is what great traders think like. This is what makes a trader the thinking. I read this already the same day it was delivered and already am implementing what i have learnt. Buy it now and you will learn so much!

Probably the best of the series - read it
This is an excellent book, packed with really good lessons from people you can relate to. These are people who have dug in and outdone the best professionals. Even better, with advances in publishing technology, it's so current that some of the interviews actually took place in The Time of Covid. I've seen immediate improvements in my trading since reading it.

Another set of Wizards - Doing their way - loved it ...
New Market Wizards was my first Amazon purchase over 20 years ago and I have them all now in one form or another. "Unknown" follows it Jacks easy to read, easy to understand style - getting people to open up about their approach, methodology, lessons they have learnt and also what NOT to do. 11 great stories and insights along with Jack's comments . My only comment would be - lets find more female super traders, I'm sure they are out there. Great easy read again :-)

Another Great Market Wizard Read
Highly recommended, along with all other of Jack Schwager’s Market Wizard books. As he says it covers less well known traders (though none from the other books are exactly household names). The uplifitng part of this is that the traders have all done well totally off their own back. No big firm involvement. All their own work.It could be you .... !

Great book - atrocious paper quality.
As a book this is great. Love it. One of the best in the series. However, the quality of the book is awful. The paper is so thin and you can easily see the writing on the back of each page. Honestly the physical book is no way near worth £20.58 pounds. There are <£10 books with better paper quality than this one - also being paperback.I do not recommend this book based on its quality.Pictures attached - two with flash and one without.
