4583-RUG-BK, Delta Grip, for Rugerlcr/LCR x Frame Revolvrs Black

This thing is SUPER comfortable in my big ol mitts (can cover an 8½x11" sheet of paper with my fingers spread...)! Allowed for a full 4 finger grip and doesn't interfere at all with my holster (Sticky). In fact, it almost makes the draw easier I would say. Point of aim is very natural, just an overall great feel. The rubber is a little grabby but I feel that'll wear in in time. Now the big test is taking it to the range and seeing if my LCR still wants to jump out of my hands when firing Underwood Ammo Xtreme Hunter 357 Magnum loads (Like it did with the Hogue Tamer grips, holy cow!). Will update after lead therapy 🤘😎

This grip is well made and it fits well. Unfortunately, for me, it is not useful. It may reduce felt recoil a bit, but the grip angle is so different from everything I am used to that instinctive point shooting is way off. Shooting with the sights is fine, but simply looking at the target and pointing the revolver doesn't work (for me) with these grips. You may not notice this if you mostly shoot Glocks, but if you mostly shoot 1911s, Smith & Wessons, or Rugers your muscle memory may require retraining.

Pizza slice by design 🍕

I am still trying to perfect to art of shooting the LCR in double action only (.357MAG model, btw). This grip is exceptionally comfortable, but does take a few shooting sessions to get used to it. I am very pleased with the product. It was delivered to match my expectations. Looking forward to shooting with the new grips again soon! Thanks for the new upgrade option! - Stuart

Installation was a snap, it is a tad longer than the "standard" grip which allows a place for my pinky to hold on. The price was right. Hard to go wrong with this grip for the price.

Easily installed and great for quicker target acquisition than the original LCR grip. However, and a very big however to me, there's absolutely NO recoil mitigation. This is especially true for 357. I went back to the Tammer grip. Much better and more manageable. I wanted to like it but nope.

Fits like a glove

I put this grip on a 3" Ruger LCR to see if it would tame the stiff recoil. This is a very light handgun. The Delta grip made it worse and I was never able to get comfortable with the angle of the grip. There was always the feeling that I was always on the edge of losing control of the revolver. I took it off and replaced it with the Pachmeyer grip that had replaced the original Ruger grip. Perhaps the Delta grip might work better with a heavier J-frame Smith & Wesson, which is the other revolver for which this grip is made.
